TEMPLE STREET Night Market - Hong Kong's BEST Night Market Linnea: Not all places Tripadvisor says are good is good. Lesson leared several times there for me. Markeds are definately the best plance to get an instant feel of the culture and the street food. :) I remember seeing those dumpling buns you had there the first time I watched it. All I coulkd think of how much they must have sweelled up in the stomach LOL. :D Way better price for the last meal than the frst one. So fresh too. :) First time buying new equipment too. Very expensive. 2 dollars. Nate you splurged. :D

So its not like america where if you look at the meat you wonder how they cut all the chick the same way?
They look like little cat leg meats and are all identical?
I swear every chineese place in phoenix serves cat meat because the meat looks just like cat legs and have 1 small 1 bigger pice that doesnt look to be cut l, swear its cat and i cant eat it.

The key is at busy times, find the busiest outlet at lunch time, that-s where the best food is, if you are going to eat street food. These 2 don-t worry about their stomachs, take risks but I think they have achieved their aim. When they finish will be able to eat at any restaurant. I just hope the Chinese don-t wreck this incredible place.

hi there, i would like to say that i think you should do some more research into the culture of hong kong, and also revisit this place, cuz there are a TON of places that you didn't go to yet, and you should try to go to the -tea restaurants- for breakfast or basically any meal. they sell hong kong milk tea, and very good char siu haha.

I can't tell if this is worth my time to go to this market. I went to a similar one in Chinatown Los Angeles and everything was polyester crap. Please let me know what is worth buying and spending time on. I loved that the Hongkongenese were so generous and helpful with dumplings and food.

Kind of like China Town in SF (surprise. If you are ever in SF, Good Mong Kok has the best pork buns and sesame balls. About 4 years ago (last time I was there, the price for the dim sum was $1. 30 for 3, buns $. 70 each, and sesame balls $. 50 each. 2 people could stuff temselves for $5.

I'm going to the pork bun shop next time I go to Hong Kong. So funny when you asked what those buns were and the guy said 'sau to'. lol. Those are actually birthday buns. Looks like a peach cause that represents longevity in chinese.

Walking through a group of African and Indian immigrants trying to escape prosecution and poverty in their home country as a -weird, not safe and a bunch of indian men trying to sell me a suit- experience is extremely ignorant.
