BEST Indian food in Kuala Lumpur! Wayne: My Malaysian friends told me that the roti canai (Indian pancake) of the Indian is one of the most unhygienic food in Asia cos the Muslims literally DO NOT use toilet paper when going to toilet. Instead they use their left hands to wash, AND because they are too busy or lazy to use detergent or soap, they usually go back straight away to make the roti canai and roti pratta, of course by using both hands and fingers to rub, knead and flip the dough for making the pancakes. Just imagine. erh! Of course they are delicious but not as original as before since everything is getting more and more expensive including the ingredients.

Still making my way through your videos starting from budget traveling up to being sponsored, but my thought on the wanting a picture scenario is similar to some here. As what Nate said in a previous Q&A on a thing he's thankful about Kara is she's willing to experience things -a lot of girls- wouldn't be fine in doing; like how they're doing more niche tourist stuff instead of the mass tourist stuff. Seeing Kara, as a beautiful Caucasian, smiling and super jolly around the area is different from your usual gal in a typical resort all day or on a tour bus might be something the locals find rare.

You guys just had south Indian food. You wont have any naan there. naan is north Indian only. You guys had a sadya or thaali which means those items are preselected and they change their menu items everyday. You guys nailed it in one of your videos. once you have good Indian food somewhere, everywhere else is just mediocre at best. Sadly we don't have good Indian restaurants here in Florida. i either have to make it or fly to India to eat the good stuff you can't find here

Talk about security in KUL. A friend of mine was there and he was walking in a park. He wanted to sit down on the grass and rest for a few mins. There was many signs of forbidden this, and that. No doing this and that. He sat down on the grass anyway. After 30 sec. A voice came over a loudspeaker. You in the blue shirt sitting on the grass. Get up! No sitting on the grass! He left in a hurry. Lol!

The exact same thing happened to me in Mexico Kara! I was in the lift (elevator) talking to my family and an American couple freaked out. Turns out they've never met a Scottish person before and asked us for photographs! They said they'd never seen someone as pale as me before haha. It's funny how skin tones and accents can make people react in different countries!

Loved all the funny little bits in this video! I think it's funny that you go to different countries to get Indian food (even though you didn't really eat it before, nate's comment before eating lunch and Kara asking if that chicken was eating chicken - you guys are so sweet and I'm really enjoying watching your old vlogs!

You will get that meal in India just at $2.
And by the way, eating on banana leaves is the traditional and cultural way. And it's the best. And we are proud of it.
But colonialism has established their culture upon us. And we are following our roots and just copying them(the European.

what you'd is 'South Indian Thali'
It's a predecided menu and you don't have to order anything. Those rice flour chips are called 'Papad'. The 'soup' might be 'Rasam' or 'Sambar', again to be eaten with the rice. Chettinad food is very rice centric and hence you saw no 'Naan'.

You never have to worry about food hygine in Malaysia like you do in Indonesia or India. Malaysians do eat with their hands but they wash their hands before eating.
I kinda like the banana leaves to save the environment. Less water, less detergent and less plastic waste. --

India is awesome. warm people and ready to help you in anything. But one thing you should know is that ask for price before you eat, can fluctuate price seeing tourist. - But everthing is worth coz the experience will be super awesome!
