CAGE DIVING WITH GREAT WHITE SHARKS marianna: guys, cage diving IS the 1st of the reasons why sharks INTENTIONALLY bitehumans, (for that reason AU/S. African waters more often. WE, humans, ARROGANT and selfish as we ve always been never bothered to realize how EXTREMELY clever those animals are. by throwing fish bait/blood(sharks can smell blood/sense heart beats miles away thats why you must control your heart beat the sec you enter the deep sea at the slow rate so you dont turn into a distressed fish! for him) behind the boats/cages we have actually trained them to link their fish food with the human flesh. and what oceanologists recently found is that the old sharks are actually telling/training the younger ones to continue the trait. and if a shark'scharacter is already bad or has ocean food shortage(created again by US) imagine what happens with that new habit of his! NOT EVERYTHING is about extra views and free experiences given bythe companies. PLS try to be more aware of your actions against nature AND GAIA. your actions, as a ripple effect DO HAVE consequences(that s why at spear fishing we NEVERgive them away the fish we cought but we ALWAYS fight for it. YOUR actions DO MATTER if you want your kids to have a decent future (as our parents have already destroyed most of it.

And this is why sharks attack humans, because we are teasing them with food, feeding them. Feeding animals and birds should be a definitely no, and you as experienced travelers should know that. We went to Cape Town, amazing city and country (SA) but preferred an helicopter ride over Cape Town over this experience. I am a fan of yours, even paid for the documentary, so please don-t get me wrong, but through your platform and your voice which can reach so many people, you could educate travelers not to sustain these businesses -shark cage diving, feeding sharks and rays, swimming with whale shark in Oslob (such a sad experience, riding elephants, etc etc. so much we can do so we do not interfere with the nature that should be there for many years to come for others to enjoy. Speaking of nature, your latest trip to Antarctica was the coolest trip ever (literally as well: ) one that I am dreaming of, if the icebergs will still be there. Jumping in the freezing water was the most courageous thing you could have done. You need much more guts to do that than being in a shark cage. Kudos to you! Stay safe and hopefully we can watch you soon taking amazing trips

That looked incredible! Glad you all enjoyed that experience. I know that's a great way to see what great white sharks look like close up since they're not in aquariums. I don't live near an ocean, and know this likely costs alot of money so I may never get that opportunity. So watching what it was like from this perspective was good enough.

We traveled from the US to Botswana and South Africa in 2007 and got married in Hermanus SA, (about 1 1/2 hours SE of Cape Town. The day before our wedding we went GWS cage diving in Gansbaai. It is truly an amazing experience. Watching your video brought it all back again!

I Have a great phobia of sharks and was supposed to go diving with great whites on my 30th Birthday. I thank God the weather was not ideal for diving so I was really happy but its still gonna happen because I have friends who like seeing me be scared.

Fun fact: the spot where they were diving is also a famous big wave surf spot called Dungeons. When the right swell hits the reef there waves get up to 14m (46ft) in height. You can find some videos on YT of people surfing this sharky big wave spot.

Wow, I've watched numerous cage diving with sharks videos, but you two make it look real! The excitement and amazement, which usually lacks in documentaries, etc. You are amazing vloggers and am totally hooked on watching all of your vlogs --
