OMAN TO DUBAI BY BUS - Interesting Border Crossing. Rayne: Again, you're so lucky to be able to go to these countries. As LGBT folks, we are either denied visas to some of these countries, or it is very dangerous for us to exist in these countries. I pray for the LGBT folks who actually live there. And I thank you for making these videos, because this is the only way we can experience these sights and cultures.

One thing so have noticed is that since you guys generally have more time, it-s easier to save money or make travel choices that take longer. The average person who has only a few vacation days, their time is more valuable/critical. Also depends on why or who is traveling. Sending my mom a trip, nonstops are much easier for her.

I'm a little surprised to learn you don't have a couple portable power banks for your electronics. Especially when you spend so much time in places where access to electrical outlets is far from a given. But then, I suppose you have to make a lot of tough choices as to what you can afford the space in your luggage for.

This reminds me of when my friend accidentally went to the Texas-Mexico boarder. She didn-t have a passport and fell asleep on the bus and missed her stop so she ended up catching a bus like 10 hours back to where she was supposed to be. Her snapchat was funny that day.

hi, Im from Mexico is it possible to travel from Dubai UAE to Doha Qatar by BUS?
I'm asking because is less than 7 hour road trip.
I'm planning to go in 2022 for the Fifa WORLD CUP.
I believe taking a plane might not be worth it

it s not easiest border crossing the physical checking of the baggage takes so much time and the effort where you could have automated many of the processes the ideal 6 hour journey stretches to 8 or 9 hours sometimes.

One thing about the UAE - they do not like people bringing sleeping tablets into the country!
So if you need them, you need a doctor-s letter, plus the tablets must be in their original packaging.

Duh - surprised at experienced travelers like you. Yes, medication bottles are a pain ) and take up room. All you had to do was take a photograph or even a video with your phone before you left.

Reason for long security check probably they thinking y u are taking bus instead of flights cuz Dubai and Oman is a hub for variety of flights and fares.
Dont forget to visit Pakistan.

Just a quick question- did you find that there were strict regulations on using your camera all the time in Oman and in UAE? I am going there and would appreciate knowing: ) Thanks
