INCREDIBLE FUTURISTIC MOUNTAIN HUT (way out of our comfort zones) Joseph: All the pussies on here not willing to take a little risk once in a while. Gear is great don-t get me wrong, once I could afford it I move into much more advanced climbing and took much bigger risk. However gear isn-t everything and it doesn-t make you invincible. Gear does save lives but it can make even professional take more risk than are necessary, instead of just thinking through a problem. All it really takes in a little bit of common sense and scanning ahead. Shitting on people who just want to adventure isn-t cool and clearly they made good enough decision to make it back alive you can call it luck if you want but they get lucky a lot - so- to each their own comfort zone. Ps don-t push your own insecurities and fears onto others. Also these people vlog about traveling not being professional outdoors enthusiasts and doing everything by the book -

I really like your videos but this I find rather irresponsible. We have so many accidents in the alps because people who don't know the terrain and are not very experienced try to do these hikes alone and without the best equipment. This puts rescue teams in a position where they have to risk their lives as well and accidents in the mountains still quite easily are fatal. Walking on a glacier without a guide is borderline insanity (unless you really know what you are doing) and I'm actually a bit surprised they rented/sold you gear after telling them what you are doing. Edit: this comment sounded very negative, but I just want you (and the people who are watching this) to stay safe and not underestimate the mountains frivolously like that.

7: 45 to 8: 25, the team work and the way Nate speaks to Kara helping her through is amazing! #relationshipgoals. I just got out a 10 year relationship (married for 5) where there was such disrespect heaped upon me. when I see these two this loving makes me want to cry. Nate is a wonderful man the way he treats Kara with respect; I love that they tease and pick on eachother but its all in fun and no on is getting hurt. I've watched these seconds over and over again and I can only say my Dad and Brother are the only men i have ever know who has treated me in the same way

I feel like you guys have been doing some really dangerous things in some of these videos. I know these were a while ago now, but your audience is big and safety should be taken a bit more seriously. Especially when you influence so many people. I usually love your videos, but the Dolomites video and this one is just too much!

This is pure idiotizm, you are behaving a little too much nonshalant, like you've walked there 1000th time and you dont even look always under your feet, distracted and walking near the icy edge, crevasse or icy river. filming everything and being waaay too much touristy and not 100% concentrated on what you're doing

Next time you are in town, come paragliding with us from the (little) Klein Matterhorn - much easier than long hikes and crampons on glaciers, and I guarantee an even more spectacular and surreal experience!
I'm an American co-owner of -FlyZermatt Paragliding here - would be fun to show you the sights ----

Oh no, another risky physical challenge. Don't do this at home, kids. I'd much rather see you exploring cultures, markets, etc, than taking these risks. But I'm truly enjoying most of these videos. Especially the ones that don't gross me out or scare me. And I'm sitting here all comfy at home!

Hiking a glacier melting from the GHG emitted from the plane that brought you there. I have done the same thing in the 1990s on Baffin Island but stopped flying that year when I learned about the climate crisis. It-s over 25 years later. What has changed?

Glad everything turned out well but glacial travel seems easy on the surface but can turn south very quickly if ill prepared, crevasse rescue kit, rope/harness, ice axe, never mind a guide and maybe even a semblance of experience should be the bare minimum.
