Believe it or not, the 1st Temple or Solomon's Temple was actually holier than the 2nd Temple. The 1st Temple had the Ark of the Covenant with the Divine Presence resting between the The Golden wings of 2 Cherubs as part of the Cover on top of the Ark. The Ark was in the Holy of Holies in the 1st Temple. The 2nd Temple had no Ark and no resting of the Divine Presence in the Holy of Holies. So the First Temple was holier.
Yes, Herod the Great made the 2nd Temple physically grander and bigger than Solomon's Temple. Architecturally he made it one of the wonders of the ancient world. But as Jews and Christians know, Herod was a butcher. So spiritually, it came in second to the 1st Temple.

The paper in the wall isn't a specific religious thing it's just something ppl started doing recently (50yrs) and the only reason as far as I know that u can't throw them out is bc some ppl may have written the name of God or a verse from the torah and those have to be buried and cannot be treated disrespectful

Great show guys. With all due respect, learn to pronounce the word -Muslim-. Not pronounced as -muslin-? It is pronounced like -muuslims-.
Please take note as a lot of impressionable people watch and they will all mispronounce. Thanks for a great video.

You captured one side of the city very well. A large part of the -locals- side is informed by recent arrival of many Orthodox Jews with $$ from the US. It's changing the politics and day-to-day significantly.

I was there 2019 in Feb and you are so right my life is not the same. would love to go back but nothing like the first time I am sure. love the Lord with all my heart! :)
