The Marble Caves (Cuevas de Mármol) are natural rock formations located in the glacial lake General Carrera, situated in Chilean Patagonia near the Chile-Argentina border. These caves are renowned for their breathtaking beauty, having been shaped over a period of 6, 000 years by the gentle erosion of the lake waters against the marble rocks. Accessible by boat, the caves can be reached from Puerto Rio Tranquilo, which is close to the Carretera Austral. Recorded November 2023 in 4K Ultra HD with Sony AX700 and DJI Pocket 2.

Stunningly beautiful footage, beautifully filmed with a lovely choice of accompanying music. You have perfectly captured the glory of the crystal clear waters lapping against the clean lines of the marble beneath the wonderful skies against the backdrop of the snow capped Andes, and the boat slowly nudging its way through the caves.
