semen mountain is the greatest historically place in Ethiopia. it is the greatest wealth to the country. how ever it should be redevelopment by every thing. the animals which are found in the semen mountain park are the only animals in the world. so they have to get take care for their life. the views are attractive. every tourist are enjoying at the time of visiting. the government and the people of Ethiopian have to give consent ration for redevelopment of the semen mountain park. thank you with respectfully.

Wow Superb as usual. Breathtaking views, stunning scenery. Loved all the wildlife shots. Who knew baboons could run so fast? And the ibex, Wikipedia says there are only about 500 left. Read your response to the commenter who inquired about the armed guide, I was curious about that also. Enjoyed reading questions and responses about trekking time and so on for these excursions. Thanks for sharing. Great work.

Beautiful, but if only you had gone in the wet season. Then you would have seen it in its full glory. The driest time of year for hiking is from December to March but at the end of the rainy season, in October, the land is a riot of green. Wildflowers bloom in August and last well into October.

What I knew about Gonder, and Semien Mounts is that it was covered with forest so thick, people used to frighten to inter. So many books and stories. Picture as well. At this moment it's not recognizable. If people are not start planting trees, dessert is at the door knocking.
