This is one of the most scenic car routes in Eastern Canada. The great thing about the Cabot Trail is that you don't ever have to leave your car to appreciate its beauty The images that the park has on it's web site and park office do not do it justice. IMO, the province needs to play something like this at the park offices and on the local television stations. To think that much of Canada's younger generation hasn't even heard of this place when they don't even have to get out of their carsOn a side note. We went camping at fishing cove a few years back, one of the most remote back country camp grounds off the Cabot Trail. It was a 4 km hike down with the option of taking a less steep but longer 7 km trail. I will never forget it becasue a moose shadowed us for the first 24 hours or so. It actually slept directly across the stream from where we camped in the gorge of the mountains We even saw a wild chicken on the way down? Despite having osteoarthritis in my knees, the scenery and serenity was well worth it and I look forward to going back again At the bottom there are dozens of crystal clear streams that join and drain into the ocean. It is overlooked by a bluff and green coniferous covered mountains. At night all you can hear is the large rocks on the beach crashing and rolling into the ocean from the big waves that are funnelled into the cove. So much in fact that over the centuries many of the rocks have become nearly perfectly round You're video and it's lovely sound track helped me to relive some of those wonderful memoires, thank you

I've been doing this run one or twice a year for the last 3 years on a motorcycle. While I wait for winter to come and go, I know where to go to get my fix till next summer Fantastic job on the video, great way to re-live the runs I've done.

Love your video and can not wait to go back there this fall. The fall colours are awesome. Since the last time I was there, I have become a Drone pilot and have been flying as a hobby for 5yrs now. Looking forward to taking some great shots.

Beautiful scenery as always. I'm thinking that hut was a replica, since the thatch on the roof is no where near thick enough to be weatherproof. Thatch usually needs to be 1ft thick to be useable. Great vid as always Thanks

I have traveled around the globe. I have seen the Canadian and American Rockies, the Andes, the Alps and the highlands of Scotland, but for simple beauty, Cape Breton out rivals them all. Alexander Graham Bell.

Lovely video, added to my list of places to visit. By the way, how did you get a super smooth/steady drive on the road? What sort of sorcerery do you have on your car or is it a drone?
