But the Historical value lies in the Dabulla Cave Temple which is on top of the Dabulla Rock. built By King Walagambha centuries ago. The correct pathway to the Dabulla Cave Temple lies few meters from the Golden Temple facing the Kandy - Dabulla main road. the pathway has breathtaking views since you start your easy climb from the starting point of the rock. you will never forget that view and calmness.
