Another magnificent video of Cartagena, a town that represents the highest achievement of Spanish Colonialism in South America. It seems that the city has been transformed significantly since I arrived there on a boat in 1989 from Panama in my 1969 VW campervan. It was my first port of call in South America and the beginning to a spectacular and truly memorable driving experience of my life enhanced even further having read a book called, The Capture of the Spanish Treasure Fleet in 1628 which gives a full description of life during this era and when those huge city walls and impregnable fortresses (which I walked around) played a vital roll in protecting the Spanish trade from other European countries. Awesome and fascinating history, one of the highlights of South America. Thanks again for the memories that you have brought back to me by watching this video. Dear Milosh, How do you manage to tear yourself away and move on from a place such as this? I like to think that if time lasts, that one day when you are tired of travel, you and a gentle and lovely mate will retire to such a place with narrow cobble stone streets, bougainvillea growing up the walls, umbrella canopies and that we, your fans, will be regaled by the Amazing Places and things, that only you, your eyes and talent will dig out of the world around you then and there. (But only if that is what you would choose, of course: )

So Lovely So Beautiful Enchanting beyond any words or descriptions Brought tears in my eyes with Joy and also I really don't know why I became emotional, perhaps is it because of beautiful homes with flowers and decorations?
