Rome and Beijing share the No. 1 spot - no other city can compete with the sights of these cities. London, Bangkok and Istanbul follow closely. Shanghai and Paris are overrated. Shanghai has a nice skyline but not much else for tourists. Paris has some nice attractions but is overall a relatively unpleasant city.

Paris is very overrated. It is literally crawling with rats and people piss on the streets. Also paris is home to 300, 000 illegal immigrants. I know people who have gotten robbed there. Yes, it is an iconic city but it should not be first on this list.
