1. Glacier NP is only in the US. It is managed in conjunction with the Canadian Waterton Lakes NP as they border each other. (You can freely travel internationally within the bounds of this International Peace Park. 2. Many of the photos shown for locations are not at that location. I noticed this, especially with Grand Canyon. At least a few of the locations shown are not within the park. 3. J tree is pretty neat, but I don't think it deserves a spot in the top-10. Crater Lake, Arches, Canyonlands, Redwoods, North Cascades are all better than Joshua Tree imo. (Have visited 40/60 National Parks and 150/418 NPS units.

First of all, WHY WAS NOTHING IN THE EAST INCLUDED IN THE TOP TEN? I get it that the west is better but it would diversify the list more. Also, i dont get why helakeala was i the honorable mentions when Volcanoes has so much more to offer. Third of all, Yosemite is so overrated Yes, it is beautiful but it does not deserve a number one spot because some parks are way more beautiful but definately in the top 5. Its like how you guys put venice as the most beautiful city and put other cities that were way mo re beautiful either in the honorable mentions or further back on the list.

Lol. When Glacier is ranked below Joshua Tree and Yosemite. Come on. . Yosemite over Yellowstone? I mean, seriously. Youre just making a list based on what's on trend. Yosemite's wildlife, views and hikes are nothing compared to the of Glacier, Yellowstone or the Smokys. Acadia should really be on the list too, as well as at least 1 from Alaska (especially Katmai, Gates of the Artic or Denali, and an argument could be made for the Everglades. But sure, let's pretend that Yosemite with is hoards of people, and less impressive views and ecosystem, should be at the top of the list.

Good effort to compile a top 10 and promote such pristine beauty Of course everyones going to have their own take on the favorites. Id like to chime in with a couple of them which could figure in the top 10 instead of say Joshua: a. Olympic National Park (its breadth of habitats -rain forests, an array of desolate beautiful beaches, snowy mountains and regular river-fed forest - is stunning. b. North Casacades I havent been there(yet) but my research on its glaciers, wildlife and solitude make it a mouth watering candidate

I've been to many on your list and they are all spectacular. Climbed Angels Landing and Half Dome. Yet to go to Glacier but it is on my bucket list. That said, due to proximity my favorite is Big National Park. You can drive for an hour and not see another vehicle. Camped on the South Rim, climbed Emory Peak. It's quite, peaceful, serene but most of all beautiful. Unfortunately it wasn't on your list at all. You can even travel by row boat to Mexico for a quick beer and taco.

Ive been in several national Parks in my vacation in Oktober 2018. me and my Friend we were in Sequoia, Death Valley, Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Arches, Mesa verde, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley. The landscape there was awesome. Unfornitly we were not in Yosemite and only the North rim of Grand Canyon. But it was all worth it. we were there for three weeks an a RV. Nice experience. :)

Never heard a more inaccurate description of Sequoia National Park. It is massive and only a tiny part of it is accessible by a day trip, as I think like 90% of it requires backpacking or long hikes into rugged backcountry. It also has vastly different terrains and climates throughout from arid, Mediterranean, to rain forest, and tundra. It also has the tallest mountain in the lower 48.

I have been to every park on the list. I have no idea why Joshua Tree is ranked so high. Great Smoky Mountains NP, Mt Rainer National Park, Olympic National Park, Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park all deserve to be ranked higher than Joshua Tree NP. I have never been to Acadia NP or North Cascades NP, but I would assume they are better choices as well.

MojoTravels, I'd have to agree with Ben Johnson below, and I'm surprised Denali isn't on the list. But, the disclaimer you gave was a good one, in that trying to pick the best 10 out of a spectacular list of far more than that is near impossible.

The picture of the mountain and bridge at 6: 05 in the video is not Yosemite, its actually Mount Rainier (Its the trails directly north of the Paradise Inn at Mount Rainier National Park. Come on MoJo thought you were better than this.
