Norwegian Full Flight: Providence to Edinburgh - Boeing 737-800 PMC: The new Basic Economy tickets on the 3 US airliners American United and Delta is horrible. You are not allowed to use the overhead bins and you are not allowed to pick your seat. They assign you a seat when you check in at the airport. So you might get an isle seat and not a window seat. If you want the choice to use the overhead bin and pick your seat you have to pay more for your ticket.

Many Scandinavian people are able to speak English and those who can are often able to do so very well as the Danish captain Lars Pettersen has demonstrated.
It's interesting just how many British people actually work for some of the Northern European airlines such as Norwegian and KLM.

What on earth was that passenger doing making a run for it across the tarmac! She definitely deserved being reprimanded by that ground handling agent/dispatcher. Was she looking for a death wish? I bet she felt really silly after that.

Times have changed. To be able to fly across the pond with 2 engines and an inoperative APU. I use to be flight crew member on the L-1011 and before that DC-8. Rules were different back then. Nice flight by the way.

Trans-Atlantic flight in a 737. I always thought that Norwegian used 787's outside of Europe, seems a bloody long flight in a narrowbody. 06: 46: 22 Good to see Edinburgh customs are on the ball. :)

Just curious. how did you have the camera positioned when you were walking thru the terminal? Did you use the GoPro Chest Mount? And did you get questioned about why you're recording all this?

4: 28: 56 you've just access the internet while you are on a flying aircraft! And I could even see it wasn't even on flight mode! Wasn't that dangerous or did you do something else?

Fantastic video mate. One of my faves from you. The Captain sounded super friendly, I was an aircraft dispatcher for 9 years and always found the Danish Crews friendly! Nice work: )

My question is this, why did they put a 737 aircraft plane flying across the Atlantic to Scotland. I would think they would have put a 757, 767 or even 777 in that postion.

Been down that road many times. Took Norwegian pvd to Shannon I loved the plane miss Norwegian flying out around here hopefully someone will do something again

6 hours of flight without an in-flight entertainment? Perhaps there should be an app to enjoy the in-flight entertainment on tablets and/or smartphones

Six hours in a 737? I flew them once to Guadeloupe. About 4 hours. not very comfortable but very cheap. The cheap price made the discomfort worthwhile.

Here is something fun to do when you fly. I have a Garmin Sat Nav I take on the plane with me when I fly. It actually holds on to a signal and works!

This takes on a whole new way of viewing when Providence is my home town airport and I recognize everything in the first 5 minutes of this video.

So cool to see my local airport through another perspective even though I fly through here the most. Awesome stuff!
