STRANDED in the Country with 3 Flights a DAY! Known as the Quad S by airline staff. Check-in agents also have the ability to do it for customers who are giving an attitude at the check-in counter, unless the person is a high level person for the carrier's frequent flyer program.
So a hint to folks when you are lining up to check-in: Don't act like a jerk if you don't want the Quad S treatment.

Hi Noel, Great Video, glad you could get onto a flight out of Suriname though, did not know that Suriname was one of those places that was hard to get a flight in and Out, Even my home country seem to have more flight per day out of the country to somewhere in the world and we are an island. With regards to one world, I believe its Ruby followed by Sapphire followed by Emerald according to the oneworld training I had when I was working with one of the one world airlines. Glad you made it home, be waiting for the next one.

Could you not have taken a bus to Cayenne (former French) or George Town (former British? American flight attendants may go on strike soon. The breakfast looks awful for First class! In economy you would get pretzels and if lucky Biscoff cookies. I had to ask for that. Delta is better. Though nothing special. But in Europe it's just as bad now.

When I watch your videos (or Josh's, I have to go to my home office desk and start my Amadeus system to find the flights you're taking. I find it even more enjoyable when you're stuck, and I can't help but try to figure out how to help you get out of where you're stuck. Great video, just like always! Thank you very much!

Always wanted to go to Suriname, being stranded potentially with no flights home thankfully hasn t damped my desire to visit, but I ll make sure I don t have anything important to do in the days after I m due to get home I think after watching this video

Thank you for visiting our neighbours to the south Noel! You should come up the island chain next time you are in the Caribbean. Caribbean Airlines traditionally almost always leaves 30 minutes early especially on their early morning runs.

I don t get it.
Two day layover & you don t show anything of the country?
Two day layover and you ve had no sleep?
What the hell were you doing?
BTW. If you lose your British accent for a Texas Drawl I ll lose my mind.

Cool to see you visit Piarco International Airport in Trinidad. I've traveled through there 4 times in 1980 and 1981 when my father was working there. At that time, we flew on Eastern and BWIA, both of which are gone now.

My wife is a Trini so I ve been through Piarco airport more times than I can count. I hope you get a chance to visit Trinidad properly one day Noel. It s a beautiful country with amazing people. Come down for Carnival!

Its a shame you didn t take the daily Miami flight with Caribbean Airlines you would have gotten some of the best treatment and the connection in Trinidad would have been easier.

I would look at being stuck in Paramaribo as an opportunity. Tour around, run the camera and make another video of a rarely seen city and country.

I was surprised when you said Miami immigration was easy. I avoid Miami airport specifically because of my immigration experience there in the past.

Sorry to hear about your cancellation & the knock on disruption to your trip Noel. Always a bit nerve racking, Great video as always though.
