I came across this looking for aviation vids in CYZV. Good call on going with PAL, they've been one of the only dependable companies in the region, and their service is always great. I loved seeing the footage of my town through the eyes of someone travelling. Fun facts, at 9: 28, that port is one of Canada's busiest due to the regional iron and aluminium industries, and that aluminium smelting plant is actually the largest in North America. During the Cold War, only 13 km from the airport, was CFS Moisie, an air base built in the 50's which provided radar intelligence for the SAGE defense network, and was only decommissoned around the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Safe travels!

I haven't even begun to watch this vid and somehow, I'm all ready revulsed. Flying in Canada isn't about comfort and seat fabrics. It is about safety and reliability with minimal fuss between points A and B. Sadly, don't say that to the marketing people for any major airline in this country with a jet. If you live outside of the narrow strip that clings to the US border from Montreal to Vancouver, you're more than likely fked.

Do you ever get tired of being a pompous blowhard? You just can't go into a room without sucking all the air out. There. I've said it! You feel the need to bad mouth airlines without offering any real information that's helpful. I get to offer opinion as well. You want to play Little Lord Fauntleroy. You may have been your mother's ideal little boy. Time to put your long pants on.

I suppose that terminal did look a bit east midlands ish in a way, great shots on the way in Noel, liked the boat one. As to youre operator Air liason have really really let the side down. But in a way PAL look good if a tad busy, and some nice refreshments, which considering and got back safely, that paramount.

I would have been livid! As a flight attendant let me inform you it's the airline's duty to reaccommodate you at any expense when cancelations are due to operations or mechanical. I always encourage people to book with a major credit card because most cards have complimentary traveler's insurance.

Wow I recognized every airlines from work (my company does work with a bunch of different industries) had never actually checked them out because I figured they were mostly cargo planes for taking resources to the northern provinces or bush plane operators. Might look into flying them some time

Pleased to see the changes to the airport for Quebec City! We were stunned by the primitive airport in 2004. We had to carry our bags to the plane, and put them on a trolley which they then pushed onto the plane! Oyr Australian home city of less than 500, 000 people had a MUCH more modern airport!

Youre a flight review video genius, Noel. I am amazed about so many things including the scenery, the scene at the airport, the wonders of a remote town, the awe of any city in the world. Im going to say this with a staunch sense of honesty, Im blown away. Keep those flight reviews coming.

Just got this video in my recommended list and it was so nice to see you in Quebec City my home town. I used to work at the YQB airport before the pandemic and I would have loved to see you there! Great video and hope you come back one day!

Cant understand why anyone would wont to travel to or in Canada these days and its beyond me as Trudeau is intent in bringing the country to a standstill which you seem to be experiencing at the moment and the trucking community is sorting out.

Nice to have a to PAL to come to the rescue. see what I did there? They are based in my home province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Also, we love the Dash 8 here in eastern Canada for good reason, it's an old friend to us now.

PAL is one of the worst managed airlines in Canada. My friend who works there calls me daily about horror stories with their aircraft maintenance so I wouldn't expect the rest of the airline to be any better.

As a Canadian, watching your travels across this great country makes me wonder why we would want to go anywhere else - we seem to have everything. Thank you for making me appreciate how lucky I am.

Welcome to Canada, our airline setup for smaller airfields is rant confusing
My local, and reasonably large airfield lost passenger service when the only airline cut a bunch of its outstations

I fly with Air Liaison many time for work at Blanc Sablon. Not the most reliable company (had many issues with them. But a nice company for remote lovely towns on the Lower North Shore region!

Hey noel, are you actually paying for these flights with your own money? I was under the impression that the airline sponsor you, to give exposure to the quality of their service.
