Can You Really Fly on a PRIVATE JET for $250? Richard: Another great video promoting the diversity of aviation - its not all Q suites! Reminded me a trip I was lucky enough to have between Rockhampton and Great Kepler Island where we were greeted by the captain at foot of the stairs. When I asked if there was any inflight entertainment, the reply was Theres no tea and cookies either! Only downside: for a nervous flyer 6 emergency exits for a max capacity of 20 seemed a high ratio! Particularly as pilot and co-pilot each had their own!

I worked for an airline that flew EAS flights in Montana, North Dakota & Minnesota. Some of our stations were small. You would walk out of the airport onto the small picketed fence grassy area then through the picket fence onto the tarmac. The station manager, ticket agent, person loading the freight, luggage and passengers was also the same person. Did I Mention that the all those people also ran the weather station and did weather observations. We were a full service airline.

Cool views of the cockpit instrumentation. They've come a long way from the rows of analog dials. Interior looks comfy, but it seems a bit odd that some seats face rearward. For all of the people who complain about Amtrak not being profitable, how many of them realize that the Federal Government subsidizes these isolated EAS routes up to $200 per passenger (more in certain exceptional instances?

Noel I watched with interest can you really fly on a private jet for $ 250. 00? I think your title for the video should have been can you really fly on a private turbine aircraft for $ 250. 00 ) as the King Air is not a jet and not even close. Good video, but at least clarify your video as in this country a jet is quite different than a turbine prop plane.

Hello Noel. I just have to say that I really enjoy your videos. I have a recommendation for you. I would love to see a review of the lounge in Aalborg airport. In a passenger survey for KLM and Air France travelers, Aalborg Airport Lounge has been voted the worlds best lounge for the year 2021. And i Think it could be interesting for you to visit.

I believe Advanced Air had a little bit of a dispute with Orange County Airport (SNA. They had put a rule in that all scheduled passenger flights had to go out of the main terminal and not the FBO that they flew from and Advanced pulled out of the airport and flies from only Hawthorne airport and Burbank in the LA area

what can I say about your therapy as noticed the private jet od propellors, sorry for being negative. it is a pity that when you get to a place like silver city you did not get out of the airport and showed us what place looked like as that could be just as fascinating as flight was
reply

I've been pretty curious lately; how do you find out about these smaller airlines/services? I'm currently up in Grand Forks ND, and between KGFK and KTVF (serviced by delta and Key lime Air respectively) there isn't much from what I have found. Any suggestions?

Enjoy NM! Awesome state! Use to travel from Durango, Colorado to Albuquerque. It was our largest city to shop and yes go to rock concerts!
In your travels in the states please look at the mountains. Each state has different colors of the mountains!

New Mexico is incredible. Great food and culture. And the high desert and Rocky Mountains around Santa Fe and Taos should be on every bucket list.
Silver City is surrounded by the massive Gila National Forest, which is where Gerinamo was born.

When I first started flying my Cessna 150 I made a lot of touch and goes in Phoenix Sky Harbor now days no more touch and goes too busy there. Love to fly in the smaller planes like that will have to do it soon. Planes of all kinds are magic carpets.

I live in silver City and I have flew and the airlines they had before they changed it to advanced Air I forgot the name but I was the only passenger on the second time I flew on it and the first time there was two of us it was kind of nice

Its a shame you describe New Mexico as the middle of nowhereits one of the best places on Earth for those with humbleness, an interest in nature/geology/geography/botany,
and a desire to be in touch with the world.

If it is anything Like Broken Hill in Australia it is a small to moderate-sized mining town in the middle of nowhere. Jet is a stretch seeing as it Beechcraft twin turboprop. Pantera by the sounds of it.
reply

I think this has probably already been said a few times in the comments but I believe the story of Truth Or Consequences, NM is that the town changed it's name at the request of a game show.
reply

haha that's awesome that they pipe SiriusXM into those jacks. It must be the audio coming from the Garmin avionics, unless there's a separate SiriusXM tuner just for the passengers.

I was looking for Phx Sky Harbor until I really listened to you that you were flying out of the FBO terminal and that you were never going into Sky Harbor terminal.
reply

My dad has a king air 100 that he uses for air ambulance transport across South Africa. An absolute beaut to fly and an awesome turboprop overall
reply

One thing: I like your vids, and, certainly, this isn't nearly enough to stop me from watching, but props. even turboprops. aren't jets.
reply

I find having to pay to get help (your sponser) just sums up the modern world and why there's so many people that take their own life
