Super video Noel. Something Id like to do in that part of the world. I also loved your previous one from England where you ended up in of all places - Nepal. Re Skyscanner and paying for your suitcase - surely an experienced traveller like yourself would have noticed the suitcase logo to the side of the flight indicating no luggage allowed. Often the cheapest flight is not that at all when you take into account extra costs. When I do this type of challenge though I intend staying for a couple of days in each place to get a feel for, and experience of the country. Ill travel though without a suitcase- way too much trouble and expense!

A very small West Virginia airport still in use with scheduled passenger service. And if you add Huntington WV to your list of destinations my wife and I will treat you to a nice lunch or dinner. Huntington is the airport where the entire Marshall University football team lost their lives about 50 years ago in a Southern Airways plane crash.

Noel. I can give you some very good advice for you to try.
I recently started taking Moringa Powder, for Blood Circulation and Pain issues in my legs.
If I told you what it has done for me, you wouldn’t believe me. Plenty of info on You Tube about it. Perhaps it can also assist your wife.
Hope you try it and hope it helps you, like it did for me. Don’t tell anyone else, we don’t want demand rising along with the prices and availability!

But anyway, what have you to fear
I saw you when you were dumped at some place on the Greyhound trip.
All you did was take a taxi to a 5 star hotel, and next morning take a taxi to the airport to fly out on a full priced flight.
So don't pretend you are an intrepid adventurer walking to Chile from Huston whistling: I love to go a wandering. ..

$85 for carry on WTAF - I think I would have turned around and booked another plane out of spite. Was there no notice when you booked As someone who travels carry on only (and where I live 7kg is the usual allowance) that luggage would take up most of my allowance. It's a bit kiddnappy The Venezuelan Holiday Board. I'm not sure Noel understands what else BBC stands for, but he did say Sup on some BBC: )

Avianca USED to be a full service airline until about 2021 when they decided to convert to something maybe a half notch above Spirit or Ryanair. Avianca got rid of business class and lounges (except for some Colombia-Europe routes ) and crammed more tiny seats, charging for everything. I avoid Avianca like the plague but unfortunately they are one of the few options around Central and South America

Fascinating idea for a video. sets the scene for a European version, Asian version etc. Look forward to them for the next luggage promos: . Likely a good idea to do a short video on the 'escape from Venezuela' though. that way we can all be sure in the knowledge that the next video wont have a new slot of 'Noels Captivity Review'.

Before I went to South Africa this year, everyone told me how dangerous it was. When I got there I found it was absolute BS. Wonderful place, one of the best I’ve ever been. US are just angry because the people of Venezuela wanted to choose their own government so they tell everyone not to go there. Utter nonsense. Great video!

Why don't you do a Baltic States tour next You can do the capitals and or the secondary towns - lovely, friendly, smaller airports without hassle.

Thank you, Noel! Great to have a nice variation on the theme of I took the cheapest flight everyday. Nice variety of airlines too (an endless combination of Ryanair flights becomes less exotic after a while.

Thanks for a great video. I’ve watched a few other cheapest anywhere flight sagas and the participants have only ever managed a few dreary flights to uninteresting locations. You, in true Phillipian style did a superb job and really pushed the envelope. Would love to see more of the same outside of South America.

Remember the oil boom days of Venezuela--, very wealthy country with Viasa as the national airline in Orange & blue. Fleet of factory fresh CV880s, DC8s & DC9s in 60s with DC10s & couple jumbo arriving in 70s. A fleet to be proud of which tells how far Venezuela have fallen in terms of wealth in last 50 years

The mainline carriers have mimicked the ULCC more and more, particularly on their shorter flights, because that's what the consumer is demanding. TAP is much like Avianca in that regard. I had to pay 125 euro at the gate in Lisbon for my carry on because it was overweight.

I'm from the Uk and my partner is from Margarita Island. Venezuela is an amazing place. the only time i felt nervous was coming through the airport in Caracas where i had my passport checked by 10 people. Went to the angel falls etc no issue. Would recommend!

Very cool adventure. Love your videos. If you has read the US Dept of State travel warning to Venezuela you would not have went there! They said if you travel there, you should make sure you have your will updated. Enough said!

This video was the best. Love your travels and commentary on all these places. Please fly to Ushuaia the capital of Tierra del Fuego. That’s the most southern city. It’s always cold I’m told. Hope you see this and best wishes
