French Riviera: Villefranche and Villa Ephrussi Jeff: FYI, it's Vee(le)frahsh, and Lady Moura is pronounced Moora because the French 'ou' equals the English 'oo. ' Thanks to this, English speakers have been mispronouncing bin Laden's first name all along: it's French spelling is Ousama which should be Oosama in English. That's why this dead creep's initials are always seen as UBL, never OBL.

It's all true. Stayed in Villefranche-sur-mer for a week. It's not expensive. 850 rnd trip flight from USA, into Nice. 100 a night for a hotel room. Food as expensive as you choose. Transportation is cheap to Provence or Monte Carlo or into Italy. Just do it, you will love it. Holiday apartments are also available for 2 or more.

I Love this place! I was home ported here. 1963 - 1965 aboard the USS Springfield CLG-7 ( Com 6th Fleet ) US Navy. Met a beautiful lady here named Chantal, we went to see the Beatles when they played on stage in Nice. Always wanted to return to here. Very Memorable Times!

Since the video talks about famous yachts and especially Lady Moura as an attraction for this place, I would like just to comment that I saw the most famous yacht in the world in the video, Christina O, Aristotle Onassis yacht.

I'm from Chicago - Have been here 3 times, just fabulous! The only sand beach in that area FYI. Great place to have or own a road bike! I wish to retire here one day; -)

Fascinating history. Beautiful video. I've read about the 'Rothschild' name. What a mansion! Thanks for this beautiful video.
