Hi! Very nice video, thoughts. I almost feel as if I know you, having enjoyed many of your videos.
How did I first find you? Wondering whether to go to Portugal, I found your video. Great! Yes! I'm going there, too, I thought. And I did, with my husband of more than 50 years now.
We didn't know that he was ill, although various symptoms almost ruined the trip--but didn't. Can you imagine starting to throw up violently as you cross the bridge to Porto? Solid traffic both ways; no stopping possible. I grabbed the wheel from the side, and we got to the other side.
Now I have such nice memories. During the first lockdown, I remembered your video (and reread your guidebook. It was such a pleasure to revisit many places we'd enjoyed, and to see others we hadn't. A beautiful release from the too harsh reality.
