Here is a tour of the medieval-style bushcraft saxon house with thatch roof that we built 4 years ago. I head back to the saxon pit house or grubenhaus to see how it is doing 1, 461 days after it was built. The saxons occupied Britain from the 5th to the 11th century. Many of their houses were built by digging a pit in the ground which would help to keep a consistent temperature throughout the year. The house was built with simple hand tools and you can watch every episode of the series below. travel: I love watching videos in your woodland, but I do sometimes miss these woods. The pinetrees give a very different vibe. Also this is the forest from the OG bushcraft camp, when I started watching you, giving a nostalgic value too. Thanks for making another video here!
