I go winter camping in the woods with hot tent and woodstove, practise some bushcraft and see how hot I can get the tent in cold weather to as close to zero degrees as possible. I manage to crank the stove up to 39 degrees celcius! Join me on this fun solo winter camping adventure in a hot tent. I’m glad that you’ve came back and you’ve done some more videos like this because we really enjoy stuff like this especially with Bushcraft and stuff because it’s interesting and it’s good to learn especially with the way of the world is going because nobody knows what’s around the corner anymore. And I believe it’s good to learn different things, especially when it comes to Bushcraft because it will help you in the future. Keep up the good work

Mike hi, why not try cocktail sausages for casarol and mixed peppers and onions precut so you don't have to cut on a wobbly table lol. But I do like you videos so dose my my dog when you have Jack's with you. Plus I like that u put bushcraft in your videos. Great stuff I try to get out with basic kit, and so far so good cheap but if you shop around you can get some good kit. Take care Mike keep it up good videos. P. s my dog gizzy likes jakes lol

I have one of these RBM tents but have been dithering about selecting a stove. I understand that the low vent also accommodates a pipe to draw cold air from outside the tent into (a different) stove. The dilemma: too much heat is as bad as too much cold. I would like to see a demonstration of how much variability a selection of wood stoves can provide inside a decent hot tent.

I would be interested to know how tall a person would have to be to not fit in it. I’m 6’2 and most tents I can’t lay down in. I like the idea of this tent and would be interested in getting one if I knew I could lay down in it completely and comfortably.
Does it also come in different colours as that looks like an autumn looking tent and would most likely stand out in summer

Given the power of this stove, two things are obvious:
1) This item might have been better used in the earlier house tent to warm a larger number of people.
2) Given the huge cold snap here in the States right now (with this morning’s temps at a mere 19 degrees Fahrenheit, even here in Texas, that stove might be much in demand for anyone currently outdoors!

Great video. Nice tent. Only complaint i would have with it is the interior color is (what's the right word/description, .too 'busy' or over stimulating. Is that the right description I would much prefer something like a plain, solid one color. Besides that, looks great. Thanks again for a great video.

Lovely as always, and what a slick set up that they all have put together there. But half the size of stove or really cold weather. that double insulated tent should be able to handle quite nicely even with all the windows.
Well, cheers from utah.

be carefuel and keep an eye on the oxygen when you have a closed tent like this. friend of my had something similar and woke up with realy bad headache wich was because of the lack of oxygen during the night.
really cool setup and the tent looks nice with the camo on it

lol be honest how many times did you set this up off camera I noticed that you already had the keeper bolt in the top and not the pull bar. I love my Rbm Up2 but everyone seems to edit out the part where you struggle for 20 minutes wrestling it open lmao.

Man, a 2am chat whilst stuck in the city is not what I expected haha. Nice to hear the camping trip went well!
I'm not your intended audience but I always leave a comment to get your video shared more.
I hope you got some sleep

Have you ever shown a camp that would keep out predators, or at the very least keep them at bay That would be interesting to see. Gear, smells, infrastructure, or methods to deter attacks from bears, mountain lions, or wolves.

The problem with this tent is they are for sale in the uk, you have to import it and hence pay import duty. Considering it's already a very expensive tent, I'd consider one of the readily available hot tents.

My mate makes his feather sticks at night in preparation for morning but what I don’t understand is where he keeps them and why, in his hat. Did ask him once, he said that’s where he always keeps them
reply

put the sausages on a stick and roast them in the stove.
I bring a Grundig pocket world radio traveling and camping. The shortwave radio stations are more plentiful on your side of the pond.

That stove is a bad design. The flue should be at the back, so you don’t have to mess about going behind it with pans. That instantly put me off wanting one. It’s a shame, cos it’s a nice size.
reply

Could you tell me please in regards to the door, how does the door secure opposite the Velcro hinge side.
What I mean is what is to stop the door flying open
Hope this question makes sense.

reply

it looked like your butt was smoking when you were having your morning oatmeal while sitting on the stove box with the fire behind you. don't tell me that wasn't a planned shot! LOL!
reply

The hole next to the stove is to allow fresh air into the tent so that you don’t pop your clogs during the night. Nothing will go out, when you light the stove you’ll feel it draw.
reply

That idea of making the feathersticks the night before is a good shout. Waking up in a previously hot tent is not great. The faster you can get the stove on again in the morning, the better.

You get to test and use some of the coolest and most unique gear. Definitely not my style of camping, since I'm a backpacker, but still extremely cool and fun to watch.
