Using a measuring stick to cut the logs onsite. such a simple step, but I'll bet it saves a lot of time and energy I suppose hauling the whole logs back to the fire site does allow you to use the remnants as firewood, but I still like the measuring stick method. Also, kudos to you for not placing your fire right next to your reflecting wall. and burning it down as others like to do.

05: 02 Time for Tea As someone from across the pond, I was surprised to see that and wondered if you used the expression to mean something other than a cup of tea? Or have I found an American who drinks tea rather than coffee? Anyway, some nice videos here.

Nice one Mike simple but very effective nice touch starting the fire with cramp balls great tips for those starting out in bushcraft. Good and sturdy one that will last too.

Nice, but, do you realize a reflector (best conditions) will only raise the temp. 1 to 2 degrees? Better to use the wood (for the reflector ) for fuel. More heat

Some say it does not work. i myself have buildt many fire walls. But if it works. i dont know. i just read it and tried it.
