Escape to the Woods: Alone Overnight in the Cabin

Join me as I escape to the woods to camp overnight alone in the off grid cabin built from pallet wood. Years ago we built this tiny cabin from recycled pallet wood and called it the pallet wood cabin. Almost 9 months ago to the day, I did a night in this cabin just before the entire world was put on lockdown. Now, 9 months later, with Britain about to be put on another lockdown, I escape the madness and head to the woods to reconnect with nature. I cook good food on the woodstove, feasting on spanish stew and ale. The next day I practice some bushcraft skills and use simple hand tools to craft some items for the little cabin. It was great to get out and live the log cabin life in the woods

Small shed, too many candles, too little cracks for fresh air, not good my dude! Not good.
You don't want to breath polluted air inside an enclosed space. You'll feel tired the next day.
Get these new phony flame-less candles that run on one flickering LED, and auto turn-off after 4 hours and come on at the same time the next day!
They look pretty close to the real thing from a distance.
Buy 10 if you want. and put them all over the cabin. They last for a year before needing new AAA batteries.
Failing that, use pure honey wax candles. No paraffin, hard on lungs. Think CO and not just CO2.
Looks like a great place to get away from the world and have some alone time, and just chill and reflect.

Also, my wife an I have been to the UK a few times now. Previously we've been to Southampton, (the Stones, London, Edinburgh, Stirling, Loch Lomond, and a few other locations in Scotland.
If we wanted to come over and camp a bit, where would our best area be? I was considering making a trip and including the Lake District perhaps with a rental car for a few nights of actual camping. Are there any other major areas you would recommend for some easy camping that the wife would also enjoy?

I can not think of a better place to spend time together with one's self than where you are. The total enjoyments that you have created with your Dad using pallets and recycled materials is a great example of what is possible by using your and your dad's ingenuity gives me hope of what can be accomplished by normal bloke's.

Thats a dang cozy cabin. The cozier the videos the better. I watch them in bed all warm and relaxed after a snack. Its nice to be in out of the elements looking at burning candles and a good hot meal and comfy spaces. Please sir, i want some more.

crafty little candle holder. Consider carving a little moat around the center of the holder so the wax won't flow over onto the table and you can then pry it out with a knife for further projects. Nice little freewood cabin.

Chor-eez-oh It is of course sausage found in Mexico, Colombia, Spain and I'm sure other countries. Each culture has their own flavor, spices and texture. Often it is eaten alone or with eggs, soups and many other dishes
