Solo overnight in a medieval house. I use a bearded axe to build a spit roast pot hanging cooking setup over the long fire pit. Join me as I spend a chilled night inside the iron age medieval thatched roof saxon house. I sleep on deer skins on a a raised bed made from pine logs and yew tree boughs. We built this thatched roof medieval bushcraft house in 12 days and you can watch the full build below

Next time try lamb or beef shishkebabs. Marinade for the lmab or beef: 1/4 olive oil, 1/4 red wine, 1/2 teaspoon each black pepper, sea salt, chopped garlic, chopped fresh parsley, 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin powder. Marinate the meat in a ziplock bag at least 8 hours before cooking, the longer you marinate the meat the better it will taste. 1-2 days in the bag is as long as you want to marinate in your refrigerator ffor. Use all the remainng marinade to baste the skewers of meat and veggies with a wand of rosemary and spearmint sprigs tied to a willow or birch branch. Try using bermuda/red onions and green peppers along with cherry tomatoes and mushroom caps on your skewers alternating between each veggie and a piece of the marinated meat. Cut the skewers from the handle down to the tip on a plate, stuff into a pita pocket half bread and add some Tabouleh salad. Enjoy! to spice it up use green chilis or jalapeno peppers in the Tabouleh salad.

Yet another great video Mike. I think it's been long enough to know build bushcrafters camp 2. 0 LOL One of the first videos of yours I watched was from the that series.
That axe is really nice, he is one talented guy. Woukd love to see collaboration between you to, maybe he could teach you some skills and you could make something. Want to see you make somethings else with your blacksmith friend.
Look forward to your next video fella

The old bushcraft camp was one of my favorite, even compared to other people's work. Still the gold standard to me. I have really enjoyed the new buildings and learning with you and seeing it all develop, and there's a lot I enjoy about seeing you start over, in a way. Looking forward to the new village and seeing what happens when you abandon it for a new project

I miss the Bushcraft camp. I could never being myself to watch the episode where you and your dad take it down. Just couldn't do it. I've watched every video you've ever done. Watched that beard ebb and flow (and whatever it's been doing over the last few weeks) but I could never watch that Bushcraft camp dismemberment episode. So yeah. I'm up for its return! :)

I love watching the builds of these historic structures. They really show how our ancestors created lovely places to live from natural materials and hard work. Have been looking att Mandan earth lodges. amazing.

You had the fire there. All you had to do was skin a long skinny branch, put all the food on it and put it over the fire and rotate. You chose to fry it. Criminal and unhealthy: )
