We've been to Yangshuo last weekend. It rained on Sat night until yesterday (June10, 2019) so we only visited the Guanyan Cave and Li river/Yulong river via Gongnong bridge. There were many spots that we have passed to visit like the Butterfly Spring Cave, Big Banyan Tree, etc, because of the bad weather. It's not advisable to visit during rainy season as some roads may be flooded when the river swells. Transpo will be hard to arrange. Besides, the color of the river will be brown as milk tea. The mountains arouns the river are best viewed and photographed when the sun is hitting it. It will be hard to make good exposure to get the vividness that you desire when the weather is cloudy. The plants covering the mountains are in deep green color compared to the color of the plants/trees on the valley. But if you insist on going there on rainy season, be prepared to be stranded there for 1 or more days due to unexpected cancelled bus bookings.

My tip would be to look at the list of Chinese world heritage sites. Although there are over 50, all of them are well maintained as local governments take them very seriously. It is impossible to choose just ten of the best places to go in China, probably not even 50 because of the sheer number of sites which offer different experiences. For those wishing to experience the Chinese culture of the beaten path (at least for foreigners, I recommend Shanxi province. The Han Chinese people originated around that area of China, and Shanxi has a large number of ancient Chinese architecture, although some places may be quite poor and pollution is an issue.

Travel with my wife alone without guide, i most say its very safe to travel compare to other countries i have been to. I will even say china is one of the saftest place to travel for foreigne really. Meeting alot of people that want to help, even most of them didn speak english. I am from europe and the media in my country dont really have much good to say about china, but in reality if you take the trip to china and you really see with your own eyes. I dont really know how to explaining it, but very beautiful country and nice.

thanks touropia for your publication, cities like shanghai and honk Kong and Beijing brings great wonder of people management within them but the great wonder is the whole china population management like tracking, recording, estimating. However, the great wonder is how God is being looking into every person and counting every breath of that person. If the west refers to europe, the east refers to china which is another page with completely different thoughts and life.

It is very hard to describe China in one video, the landscapes are very unique and amazing, foods are definitely delicious, cultures are special. It is very recommended (especially western people )to visit this country at least once in their lifetime, it is really a great country, absolutely different from what you see from TV and local newspaper.

How to stop overcrowding because of overpopulation in China and the world? All beauty is polluted by hords of tourists and their vehicles. As soon as people have money they have an urge to travel. Global warming cannot be stopped. Better destroy the beautiful places than that only few enjoy it, is what think the jealous yellow vesters.
