Does anyone want to explain why Dubai goes to such extremes in architecture and luxury? It's also one of if not THE fastest developing cities on the planet. It's because the city's engineers and founding fathers knew that its' wealth was based in oil and that its' a finite resource, so when the oil runs out so does the cash cow. This is why they've created such wonders and attractions, so people would still have a reason to visit. Otherwise it's just another city in the desert. I mean they have an indoor ski resort for crying out loud, IN THE DESERT But once that oil dries up, the ultra rich will move on.

It's incredibly nice, but my biggest conviction because I've lived in some of the most saddest poor places in America & for me it bothers me to not be able to give in this kind of good living in sharing with the least. That is my heart ache. I know how sad it is in real life in real time& I get sick inside physically of the imbalance to where it limits me to be able to enjoy this in its fullness. It is really nice though. I'm the one to bring all the homeless along, lol& when I see the broken enjoy then I my hearts full& I can enjoy it.

You would expect, with all this luxury to at least film in 4k/8k. instead of FHD. If you are filming in 4K which I doubt, it's the poorest quality. Step up the graphics. Showing all this luxury but showing it in FHD is just poor. lol. Oh and don't worry, I also fly occasionally 1st class, but I don't feel the urge really to film it. I travel to south America though. Never been to middle east or Asia.

I think it's ironic and sad that you can never sit as a couple in these suites. That would be the biggest thrill in First class. To sleep and watch movies together. If you're in economy you can sit next to your gf, put the armrest up and cuddle. Thanks for your 10k. You have to fly solo though. What a burn. Obviously superb if you really are solo.

So different to institutional UK and surly airport staff (hello Newcastle Emirates. I remember arriving in Dubai at 7pm and my flight wasn't till 0600 next morning. I had my luggage with me and the Emirates staff checked it in Apart from a couple of really rude women staff in the airports I found Dubai and the Emirates staff pretty great.

I hate my life. I'm in a backpacker in Perth, sharing a room with 7 stinky guys (all of them snore, had a mi Goreng noodles (without egg) and a glass of tap water. For dessert, I was saving a chocolate bar, but it was stolen in the COMMUNAL KITCHEN aaaaaaaahhhhhh)

My best was when flew China Eastern LAX to Shanghai, economy class. no passengers on the next 2 seats. I was in heaven I ate, watched movies and slept ( a little tight but ok by me) and I paid 550 bucks round trip. Can you beat that?
