I flew BA Club World from YYZ to LHR in November last year. Was very disappointed as I think their Dreamliner fleet was grounded at that point. 777s each way. The cabin was stifling Like seriously boiling. Staff werent very attentive. I had to help an old lady with her baggage etc as no one was on hand. The meal, while nicely presented was over cooked. I had beef and could barely cut it. The pudding had also dried out. Overall, it was ok. Flat bed seat was nice, White Company bedding was lovely. It was just too hot to sleep. I was comped at the gate so cant really complain that much. If I had paid for it, I would have been very annoyed.

Been flying with BA for around 25 years on an occasional basis. Have always flown with them when using my own money and the service is getting worse. To fly, to serve has become To fly, to rip off the passenger as much as we can. The wonderful included hot breakfasts on the UK domestic flights for example, have vanished and you now have to buy M&S stuff if you want to eat or drink on board. Just like a budget airline, only more expensive. For me, one reason to stick with BA has been the easy access to T5 from where I live, but I fear that it's time to try another airline next time I fly

I agree with you. BA have upped their game once more after decimating their previous product. I recently flew BA Business LHR to Chennai and return. The B787-900 is definitely compact due to it being a four class flight however the B787- 800 with the 3 class configuration is fine. Cabin crew were excellent and the food service has improved markedly. I am flying again shortly with BA and am looking forward to the flight whereas in the past it has been mediocre. I think the damage has already been done with their cost cutting and it will take a lot to get its former clientele back again.

who ever invented the ying yang concept on BA must have been thinking money only as it is uncomfortable, no real lie flat bed and way to small for a normal adult. Service is good and professional but for a business class it is the design that kills it for me. I unfortunately have very little choices enroute into the USA. It is about time however they refurbish their business and first class especially for the prices they are charging. Same amount of flying time into Asia is abt 40 % cheaper and then you get Qatar, Etihad, Emirates. which are way ahead in customer comfort.

Good old BA. Flying like its 1999. I flew some of the JFK LHR flights when they first piloted flat beds in business and they were world leaders then. The original pilot version had metal elephant ear flaps between window and aisle for privacy. Problem was any turbulence sent them all into a metal flapping cacophony. The version they launched changed the metal for plastic flaps. Shame on them for not keeping up however. That seating config has to go - how much must it have cost to perpetuate the madness on the new 787 fleet?

A shame that in 2019 nothing on BA is consistent except the high price. You were lucky but passengers are still paying a premium to sit in ancient, filthy cabins, with broken kit (screens and seats) and utterly inadequate catering. especially on long haul. BA customer services are the antithesis of good service and seem to exist merely put customers off making a complaint and to insulate the management from real complaints. #flyabba if you want comfort, quality, service or value

Although I'll never pick up seashells by the seashore in the Seychelles, thanks for not nitpicking every single aspect of this flight. Some airline 'reviewers' appear to go to some lengths to find anything to criticize. As one who made his first flight in 1962 aboard a Trans Texas Airways DC-3, and then across the Atlantic from South Carolina to Frankfurt on a four engine prop, as well as other flights on different aircraft, you folks have it made compared to the past.

Our National carrier, 1st note the peeling paint on the engine nacelle, 2nd none of the panels fit on the 'Suite' fittings look cheap, 3, Monitor screen 12 c'mmon 4 that table 5 omg that a bed? Food look unappetising. Ok so the past 5 years flying Emirates BC has spoilt me, (gave BA the elbow 1980) but being ensconced in the luxury, privacy, own mini bar, service second to none, oh and you get a real bar to meet other flyers with premium drinks. BA is not the way to fly.

Ok, Im British and generally support our flag-carrier where I can. Ive recently flown to and from NYC in Club World and was very impressed with the service, seat comfort and food. Flew both ways upstairs in a 747, paid for with Avios. Ive flown 1st to Vegas and Bermuda, personally I dont see that worth the extra money, but its all about choice. BA are viewed by me as a safe and reliable airline, this is my most important choice when booking with anyone
