Years ago I saw a video of a wedding in the Maldives. Employees stood around as the officiant insulated the couple and their future children in the native language of the Maldives. The couple had no idea the insulting things the employees said and thought about them. I decided then I’d never go there. I’d feel like the locals were faking wanting me there. I’ve been to Tahiti and I’ll stick with that tropical location. Maldives does look like a beautiful place but based on their beliefs, I think they’re just tolerating us.

The world is huge. Think I will pass on the Maldives, especially with the attitude the locals have and don’t hesitate to display to people visiting

Love your videos, this place does nothing for me, there are far better places and more attractive looking than this resort. The beach is tunning though.

The place is beautiful, but knowing the fake island was built on a coral reef when those are already in so much danger ruined the mood a bit
