Alila is one of my top favorite hotel brands. Alila and Aman built the most elegant and sophisticated modern hotels way before anyone could even try to compete with them in terms of design and quality furniture. I remember when Alila Villas Soori was opened like 15 years ago, I was a kid and that was the most beautiful hotel I had ever seen in my life. Made most newly built luxury hotels look completely dated in that time.

What I am interested in, all this building structrures and the interior is permanetnly exposted to the salty air.
What about corrosion? And especially in the tropics? Doesn't require such hotel or ressort lots of care, all the time?
