I am certain I have mentioned it before, but the best flight I ever had was on a Qatar a350 from Singapore to Doha. When the flight attendants found out it was my 70th birthday they brought out a small box with a cake inside. The box was covered with post it notes signed by all the flight attendants wishing me happy birthday. I was also plied with champagne for the whole flight. Now that's what I call customer service. While I can see Qatar's reasoning behind using the old business class I still maintain that everyone should have direct aisle access. I am flying to Lisbon next week with Easy Jet. I am pretty sure my trip will not be as comfortable as yours was. Enjoyed the review as usual.

If I'm reading the tail number right (it's a bit obscured) as 47-BBF then she's line number 842 (current deliveries from Boeing are in the 1700s now) and about 15 years old. She looks in pretty good shape which doesn't surprise me at all for Qatar. Service life of a 777 is between 20 - 30 years depending on specific usage conditions and maintenance quality.

I am always mesmerized and in awe of the quality and content of your videos and music covering Luxury Travel. Seychelles Airport looks gorgeous and beautiful. Certainly the best airport in the Indian Ocean

That they still fly these old cabins to luxury destinations is simply unbelievable and has been damaging their reputation for years. And is the reason why I don't fly with Qatar anymore.
