Join me on a full tour of Canopy by Hilton Seychelles Resort, a brand-new beach resort on Mahé Island, the main island of the Seychelles. Situated in the south of Mahé, Canopy by Hilton Seychelles is the Canopy brand’s first resort property in the world, blending local flair with contemporary charm to deliver a 4-star superior getaway for families and adventure seekers alike. Located along Anse à la Mouche Beach - which is known for its shallow and calm seas - the resort offers 120 stylishly designed rooms, several pools, a tranquil spa, and one restaurant. I stayed one night at Canopy by Hilton Seychelles Resort (after staying at Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island) since it was a convenient stop-over in Mahé before flying back home. Thank you for sharing this charming little place, because the Seychelles is one of the most expensive destinations in the world, so getting your perspective on a 4-star location offering just very entry-level luxury was interesting. It certainly wasn't an architectural marvel like the separate universe that Six Senses, Raffles, and Aman live in, but when measuring up to its own league, I agree that its title of affordable luxury is certainly well deserved.
Even the Constance Ephelia seemed very disappointing in comparison and it was a 5-star hotel! (at least by the book. Still, it had a lovely beach, I'll give it that, so on a budget I would choose this place, but for any visit to the Seychelles, it's Four Seasons, Raffles, or North Island all the way for me!

Wonderful beach! Just leave me there! Collect me in the morning! The food looked really good for the most part. but that cacophonous noise eminating throughout the restaurant was enough to put one off his food! Oy!
Dear LTE, I must confess, I really don't get the eggs Benedict thing! Please don't misconstrue! I'm a fan of eggs, of ham, of cheese, of english muffins, of butter, but! Not so much as a gelatinous glob sitting cold and naked on a plate. Uff! And, yes, I've tried it a couple of times. I guess I'll be sticking with omelets. lol! Well, you are a unique character! Blessings dear LTE! Thank you for the tour!

Now THAT is a huge hotel & resort! A very expansive resort with top notch landscaping around the also expansive & beautiful pool areas.
And the lobby is also beautiful with its eye-poppingly colorful paintings. And that giant, very plush, not sure what it is on the floor, extra soft sitting furniture of some kind. Don't know what to call it, but it looks comfortable.
LTE's individual room looked pretty sweet too.
Overall, while maybe not as high-end ulta-luxe as the Waldorf Seychelles, I'd definitely be happy to stay at the Canopy here. It's definitely no slouch.

Thanks so much for all the amazing videos and the effort you put into them! I really enjoy watching your content.
It's fantastic that you're reviewing a more affordable hotel this time. I'd absolutely love to see more content showcasing awesome hotels at reasonable price pointslike the best spots under 300, 600, or more (adjusted based on the location. Hotels like these are often super hard to find, and highlighting them would bring incredible value to the community. Keep up the great work!

We found the cheapest hotel gave us as good a service as luxury hotel
Banyan Tree was outstanding but expensive. Lemuria on Praslin under the old management was expensive and poor. Our 3rd was supposed to be labriz on north island but weather prevented so we were offered Fishermans Cove and service was faultless. Literally saved our holiday
Same on Mauritius Beachcomber Victoria gave us a better holiday than Le Touessrock sometimes money doesn't get better service

Would have loved to see Cheval Blanc Seychelles, hopefully next time. The market in this region starts to shift to something special with the new Waldorf, Cheval Blanc, and Fregate hopefully reopening sometime soon, North Island leaving Marriott and La Reserve on the way, and even more speculation on the way. For now I think the Waldorf is the best in terms of value for money. The Canopy is really well priced for what you get as well.

Your video, as always, is stunning, and Seychelles, of course, is breathtaking. However, what saddens me, as someone who has visited Seychelles twice, is that too many hotels are being built, especially hotels like this one that don’t blend with nature. It’s filled with a lot of ceramic flooring around the pool area, which makes it resemble large resorts in Europe rather than an experience connected to nature

I suppose we are normally spoilt by the resorts you visit. I found this one a little uninspiring but if you paid me to go there I wouldn't complain!
I would personally bribe the band to stop playing (if that was what they were doing! - the drummer seems to have gone rogue and was playing his own rendition of a different song!
Just a light hearted review. No offence meant. X

Found it to be a beautiful property with good variety of dining options, a great spa, and outstanding customer service. However, the high number of children diminished some of the luxurious, serene paradise feel of a more tranquil experience. It's surely an excellent choice for families and groups.

haha, Dr. LTE is earthing in a Canopy I once visited the Canopy in Reykjavik, it was worth the money but I would call Canopy rather a style&design than a luxury hotel brand.

Wow what a boring long drawn out review! Could you show the outside of an aircraft for longer at the beginning Wow I tried fast forwarding but I was even board with that
