video description
But they are the most spacious and comfortable planes if the flight is more than 10 hours long. Hope they are here to stay.

The A380 was an white elephant from the day the first one took to the skies; another one of Europe's prestige projects (like the Concorde) than never made economic sense (either for Airbus or the airlines. The only airline where it made some sense was Emirates, with their worldwide hub & spoke flight network. However, their model of bringing people from all over the world to Dubai. mixing them up for a few hours at Dubai Airport. and then sending them off on crowded planes to their final destinations is exactly not what the world needs right now. At least I had the chance to fly on Emirates A380's a half dozen times in Biz and two times in First on flights between Bangkok and both Europe and the USA.

I reckon I could handle a flight like this! Such a shame about the 380's around the world being stored. Qantas here in Australia have of course done the same and the 747's with Qantas certainly won't be back. very sad! Nothing like a tail cam view of a 380 take off! Majestic! Hope the food tasted as good as it looked! A most excellent flight review with some great views as well! Tail cam landing also great. not sure about the bloke sneezing though! Looking forward to Lake Como. great spot. Thanks as always and stay safe well during these awful times!

I was eager not to miss that vlog. Watching your flight report and your presentation is a pleasant recharge to my energy after a week of long working hours. And yes maybe for now it's Good bye to the A 380, but I am optimistic. Coming 2021 we have a vaccination and start flying more often and we will see this Airbus again.

I won't say the pandemic is the premature end of the A380. Before the pandemic the A380 was ending with various airlines retiring them and airbus announced an end in production before the pademic seriously begun. I would say the pandemic made the aircraft type retire quicker than planned but the A380s were always going to go.

One of my favourite flights was on a A380. Unfortunately I do not think they are as cost effective as some of the larger twin engined aircraft such as the A350 or Boeing's 787, so unless international travel quickly returns to it's pre-pandemic level, I do not think we will see them back in the sky anytime soon.

Even before the pandemic Airbus was already planning to stop the production of the A380. .but with the pandemic, it's a K. O for A380. Air France already removed it's A380 from it's fleet, even British Airways removed it's 747 from it's fleet. .very Soon Emirates will announce that news

i really like the design of the Lufthansa First Class. I don't quite understand why so many people want to go fully private with closed doors. Imo flying is about sharing and enjoying the experience with others, even strangers.

Great video. Can I ask, when filming videos like this, particularly in a first class cabin, do you ask the other passengers if it's ok for you to film if they are going to be in shot?

What a shame! The A380 is the quietest, smoothest, most majestic plane in the skies. Although I have to say that Lufthansa's first looks a lot more like Qatar's business here.
