Have always preferred Ghent to Bruges also Aalst which is smaller but as interesting
Great restaurants in Ghent Het Pakhuis being one of my favourites in Europe low key great food service and amazing building. found it by accident on a work trip down an alleyway
So much so that one year we turned up they were full and we had to plead to get a table having come from the UK
They could only offer us the romantic corner, Given it was two middle aged men we thought for a second and replied you don't tell anyone we won't.
Eventually took my wife to Ghent who was only disappointed because they were relaying the tram tracks so I have to take her back again

Gorgeous. Here in Australia we dont have many (any) buildings older than 200 yo and to me the architecture shown in Ghent is just breath-taking. Thank you for your wonderful videos
