Join me for a walking tour in Bruges (Belgium, one of Europe's most beautiful cities. During the Middle Ages, Bruges was one of the commercial and cultural metropolis of Europe, and home to famous artists such as Jan van Eyck and Hans Memling. Because of its exceptionally well preserved gothic architecture, the entire city center of Bruges was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. The cobble stone streets, majestic city squares, world-class museums and many cultural activities make Bruges a unique travel destination that charms millions of visitors each year. Because of its many canals, Bruges is often referred to as the Venice of the North. Catherine: I have been in Brugge twice. The last time was November 2019 before the Pandemic and my last travel in Europe. I love the place, one of the most beautiful and my favorite cities. If the pandemic is over, I am planning to return and visit again.

Good morning my friend.
What a beautiful and tranquil video, you portraited the city in its true glory, we thank you for that. I would love it if you could visit York in England as York has some beautiful old architecture which I am sure you would show so well.
I'm looking forward to your next video.
I hope you health is on the mend.
Kind regards
DS

Charming, historic and beautiful. You can the influences (and the economic clout) of the city's Hanseatic League past in its architecture. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful city with us, Doctor. Best wishes.

Beautiful, thank you! There are some excellent hotels in Bruges or other cities, that would not pale in comparison with the luxury hotels you have reviewed around the world. Maybe a suggestion for future videos?

Daar liep Pieter Van In met zijn vrouw Hannelore, dat dacht ik toch gezien te hebben: -)
Prachtig weergegeven, misschien als je het dokter zijn beu zou worden, kan Erik Van Looy je een job aanbieden: -)

bruges decline might actually helped the city. If it's famous during times like the industrial revolution, most of the city's attractions and beautiful buildings might not survive to this day.

With a large part of my family being from Brugge I've been there so many times, yet I never get tired of seeing it. It truly is one of the prettiest places I have ever been.

You practically took me to BRUGES. Thanks. I can't accept the truth that these heavenly places are inaccessible due to the Pandemic.
