My Journey this was in September 2015 All Qatar Airways as 787-8 Dreamliner from Edinburgh to Doha Economy Class. When I went to Dubai as a stopover I had to wait for 3 hours But u can't blame me as it is extremely busy. I personally like smaller Airports better so since I was in Doha Hammad Airport I was originally had to wait 1hr 25 mins but only had to wait 45min which was overall enough time. Then Qatar A320-200 from Doha to Faisalabad In Pakistan. Then in October 2015 on the way back Economy class Qatar Airways Boeing 777 300er Lahore Pakistan to Doha then 787 8 Dreamliner back to edinburgh

Whilst the A350 and B787 should really be compared against the B777 and A330neo, but because they are both new generation part composite aeroplanes comparisons are inevitable. Having flown on long haul on both on the same night/day/night in the same seat, it's obvious the A350 is superior, it's quieter, more comfortable and has a more stronger/better quality build feel. Whereas the B787 feels flimsy, it's engines set up a low pitch rumble in the cruise and those annoying fade-a-matic windows don't fade to black, if your on the wrong side of the aircraft at dawn you will know.

I am from the US, and the lounges in my country always stink. As do the Airlines. I have traveled to Asia many times and always flew SIA whenever possible. In fact, my frequent Flyer thing is KrisFlyer even though I live in the middle of America. This is because their Star World Alliance partner in the US is United, and they are terrible and never honor freq. flyer miles. All of that being said, because of a small sample size, my fave lounge is the first class lounge at Changgi. I also really like the Four Seasons at Changgi.

Unfortunately 350 is not a 787 competitor but something between 787 and 777. 350 was not able to compete with 787 directly so it's mission was to fill a market gap between the two Boeing airplanes. New 350-1000 orders were stopped by the upcoming 777 X. So Airbus is in a bad situation with a lot less airplanes sold in the 250-400 passengers arena. In this moment Boeing is winning the battle in this popular wide body segment. 350 was too late (and 380 is selling very little with zero orders on three years)

The food looks amazing, much better than on my recent flight with Cathay Pacific. However, the footrest is on an awkward position: to stretch your legs you sort of have to sit across which makes it pretty uncomfortable to watch a film, in my opinion. I think in this case Cathay Pacific solved it much better with their reversed herring bone layout. I wonder why SQ didn't adopt this style as many other carriers such as Air France, Air Canada, EVA Air, etc. have already switched to this

Airports in Germany are old fashioned and Lufthansa lounges are lagging behind everybody else in Europe. It's crazy Germany hasn't invested in their airports for a while Frankfurt airport, their biggest one, looks like a soviet style designed train station Munich airport looks much more modern, but you still have to drag your luggage stairways up and down to have access to some gates, making it totally impossible to older people Crazy.

I have an upcoming flight on the A350 that I am looking forward to. The 787 is an awesome aircraft. Agree with other reviews that 777 is also a great aircraft as is the A380 albeit not so economic for airlines to operate. For the passenger experience much comes down to how the airline configures the cabin. I generally fly business class so I really enjoy EVA airlines and United Polaris business class on the 777 300ER aircraft.

Nice vid. Andaman Nicobar islands are part of India & one has to go there via India only. Also these are Lakshadeep islands have only part of the islands open for foreigners, unlike Indians. It also have a major Indian naval base to keep a tab on rogue Chinese PLA fleet. And yes, A350 is far superior than B787 Cheapliner. B787 Cheapliner can be compared to that Chinese aircraft which flew recently but is not airworthy: P
