SIX SENSES CON DAO (VIETNAM): review of a FABULOUS resort Sorina Balan: My travel experience is not so wide, I traveled in Europe, North America and Caribbean. I have a couple of favorite places. One is the Body Holiday in St. Lucia. They include one massage per person each day for those staying more than 3 nights. I guess the spa is one of the best spas in Caribbean. Also, the food is healthy, they have a lot of sports, yoga, hiking activities. I spent 10 nights there having a massage every day. Pure paradise In Italy (Tuscany, not so far from Sienna) I stayed in an old farm house (transformed in B&B. It was my favorite. It was very romantic not far from some thermal baths. The house was in a middle of wheat and olives fields. The neighbor house was 3miles away. There are very nice and attractive places in Asia - Pacific and South America, but it would be a huge challenge to flight there.

One of my friends just talked me into spending a week in NYC this October. Haven't been there in years and years. I would be happy to relax at the Six Senses Con Dao for a week with a few good books and exotic drinks rather than fight the crowds in Manhattan. (Oh, I know I will love being back in New York City, though)What a beautiful beach and lovely grounds A few too many stairs in your villa (for me, anyway, but otherwise can't fault it. Red suitcase looks quite content on its bench, little knowing what's in store after the trip to Vietnam. Cheers, and thanks for another great video.

Like I said in your previous video, you are an absolutely amazing videographer. It's like you're floating on clouds. How do you do it. You blow my mind. Would you ever consider doing a video in Hawaii, Turks and Caicos, Mexico, Fiji, Aruba or Bora Bora? I understand they have amazing beaches and resorts and spas. I would be so happy if you did. Thank you for your amazing carefully planned mind blowing videos. You should be doing this professionally if you aren't already.

I would recommend going into the actual town and staying at one of the local hotels/eating food from the local markets and restaurants. Much more interesting. This island is so unique in that there are almost no foreign tourists outside of the resorts. Almost everyone speaks only Vietnamese. Going and staying at a cushy western resort which is isolated away from the locals would mean missing out on the charm of this place. Also the locals benefit a lot from your business.

Looked ok up to the beach walk and then it looks like a shanty town looking back at the villas. Not sure why anyone would stay in those open beachfront villas. Luxury to me has one very important issue, and that is privacy. Privacy goes with Romance, and this is a place for couples. Nothing private about that. Howdy Neighbour So many Lux ocean front and overwaters get this so so wrong.

I was there last August for 4 days with my family. Best resort youll ever go to. If you ever go there, make sure to get a PADI license (diving) first. Diving there is one of the highlights of the island. Also, you should go to watch Giant Turtles breeding (ask your butler, hell call the people for you) at night. Theyre the last of their kind and almost extinct (350 left in the world.

The problem is getting there - first I'm accosted by TSA agents who earn minimum wage - then governments who claim ownership of people and lands - then - rude obnoxious Chinese tourists - worse fatted Americans - worse - tattoos - im paying big money to enjoy being elite and I have to see criminal tattoos and piercings

Have you noticed, every warm weather resort is currentlyrunning televison commercials, trying to squeeze every last drop out of theirwinter season, by picturing empty beaches and blue waterways, while even intheir off season, which are our hot summer months, an empty beach would still behard to find?

Thanks for posting. We stayed here for a few days, escaping from the touristy towns in the mainland, hoping to get some peace and tranquility, then came the obnoxious chinese tourists. Loud, dirty, no table manner, rude to staff. Chinese should be banned from travelling.

Where are the Vietnamese food? The street selection is a joke. That is the one thing I hate about resorts they feel the need to serve 90% western food. Tourists in general should eat the food of the country they travel to. Isnt that the whole point of traveling.
