Take a relaxing scenic drive across the Rocky Mountains in Colorado in 4K 60FPS. The video starts in Grand Junction and we wind our way across the state to Denver on I-70. The slowly changing landscape from desert scenery to rolling green mountains and red cliffs to majestic towering snow capped mountains at 11, 000 feet above sea level makes this a truly stunning scenic drive. This drive was made July 5th, 2019

Hmm, at this vid's speed, seems that "retired" private eye James "Sonny" Crockett--former Detective with the Miami/Metro-Dade PD OCB--has been tapped by his old employer, Florida's Dade County, courtesy of his now-again-current flame, Commander Gina Calabrese, successor to Lt. Castillo, to preform an extradition job from Denver. He's got another Ferrari as his "main wheel", and he's been visiting his son, Sgt. William Crockett of the Grand Junction PD and his grandchildren. Sgt. Crockett rides along to help Dad on this job. That's the "BACK STORY" of this vid, to explain the speeds of up to 140MPH.
If we DO take this vid, and imagine it, as another episode of "Miami Vice", well, we will then have to "ignore" all of those PEPPY AND EMPTY semi-trailer-tractor trucks, and, also being passed by other motorists! And, you know, about 40% of this music, could probably and actually pass Michael Mann's muster, for inclusion in this TV Series' Soundtrack!
All-in-all, this entire vid gives you an EXCELLENT grasp of the geography through which we traverse. Thanks a million, AED!

Worse stretch of Interstate in the country. Scenic, absolutely. Fun to drive. Hell no. Condition of the road is terrible. Huge bumps and pot holes. Never ending construction going either way. Needs to be at least three lanes all the way. And the part east of Vail where it reduces from 3 to 2 lanes causes walking pace speeds and miles and miles of back up. If there is an accident, forget about it. I drove from Grand Junction to Denver yesterday. Took me 6. 5 hours. Miserable drive. And make sure your vehicle is in good condition. Lots of steep inclines and curves. And like everywhere else in this country, the far right lane is now the fast lane.

Absolutely stunning footage. I'm originally from Co. Denver area actually. But always liked the Western Slope mountains. Much more so then the mountain ranges outside of Denver. Just like the southern mountains past Colorado Springs. But that beautiful River that you're driving next to for so very long. What river is that See this is what I mean I wish you would speak now and then. At least point out key places in your videos. Like the river what the heck river is it Thanks in advance. And as always safe and happy travels

I have been to every single state in the United States. I have traveled all over the world and witnessed many beautiful places in my life. In my mind nothing is as majestic as driving down I-75 in Tennessee during the Summer with your convertible top down or t-tops off. Especially when you see it for the first time it absolutely takes your breath away. If it didn't get cold or snow in Tennessee I might consider living there. This Floridian loves his tropical weather far too much.

Here's a neat interesting fact for you Grand junction is home to the world's largest flat top mountain it's also an extinct shield volcano it's called the Grand Mesa just off the beaten path on exit 49 going eastbound on i-70 you can follow plateau canyon all the way up to the Grand Mesa it has over 300 lakes on it and it's an amazing view once you get up there I must say it's one of the best places on Earth

Great stuff. Thanks for sharing.
One of my favorite "scenic drive/dash cam" videos I have seen so far. Normally I prefer real time videos without music, for immersion's sake, but a well made sped up video with music, like this one, has its own charm and place.
The music is nothing I would normally listen to, but in the context of this video, it works well.

I love this video. Hope to visit these beautiful places some day but gathering info on the web found too many restrictions due to the coronavirus. I’m afraid half of the state would be closed. It’s a long drive from Houston but it looks like it’s worthy. Blessings.

I've driven that stretch a couple of times, matter of fact wife and I drove from Denver to Las Vegas and it is the most beautiful route we've ever taken! Nothing comes close! We were stationed at Buckley SFB for 2 years, 6/2020 - 5/2022.

A drive I make several times a year and very close to the time this was posted. I had to look for myself just in case; o) I never tire of the drive and this amazing view in this beautiful state. Thank you for sharing.

Please visit CO if anyone is interested, but do not move here. We do not currently have the infrastructure for the amount of people here and all the new additions are not helping!

This should be on every road tripper's bucket list! I had passed these beautiful roads when I went around the mainland U. S. in the late 90s. Precious memories!

This is a sweet video. I like the music, too. At 6: 46, for just a split second, the synth reminded me of the beginning of the song, Havona, by Weather Report.

This is a very deadly highway especially in Utah and arizona not because of car crashed more of car tires exploding I've never had it happen but I've seen it

What camera did you use to shoot these I've always wished I could record my road trips through gorgeous scenery but the camera never does it justice.

Haven't lived in CO in decades, but I remember that drive well. 1: 35: 04 the famous 'Sleeper House' appears at 3 o'clock for a couple seconds.

I make this drive every weekend from Denver, to Grand Junction and back. 257 miles one way. Mt. Garfield to start the day on the left.

This is the only way you can go 120 mph from Grand Junction to Denver and not be arrested! Used to drive this route years ago Memories

I finally got my right to drive in the left lane so if you want to pass learn how to drive by using the right lanes to pass

Very interested in licensing a 12 second clip of this 4K video. Is this something that would be possible to arrange
