As a child, I remember riding along I-64 west to get to extended family in Lexington. Now, I'm planning on driving US 60 the whole way from Huntington to Lexington, or maybe US 52 west from Portsmouth to US 68. Thanks for inspiring me to take the backroads!
I'm actually surprised you haven't gone along the Ohio River Scenic Byway yet (as far as I'm aware. It's a great trip, although I've only driven maybe a quarter of the route myself.

There's about a 20 mile stretch on I-64 in southern Indiana where the time zone changes back and forth from eastern time to central time on five different occasions. Crawford to Perry (ET to CT, Perry to Dubois (CT to ET, Dubois to Spencer (ET to CT, Spencer to Dubois (CT to ET, then Dubois to Spencer (ET to CT. Once back in Spencer, between Ferdinand and Dale, it stays CT.

Thanks for the ride! I was reminded of our family’s trips between Evanston and Louisiana when you passed through Mt. Vernon, IL. It was a treat to see the St. Louis Arch and Busch Stadium, also. I haven’t even finished the European trip and now you’ve posted a new cross country trip! So much to see! Thank you! What does the Heading number measure

Georgetown Kentucky exit69
G’town sure doesn’t look like much from i64. i75 passes through a lot closer (with 5 Georgetown exits) It’s actually the 7th largest city in KY with a population of over 36k in 2020. It was established in 1784 so it also has some BEAUTIFUL historic Neighborhoods!

Greetings from Australia. I'm a fan of your real time videos. Soothing and relaxing drive. Its like I'm there doing it myself. Find the time lapse too frantic for my taste and don't get a good chance to observe the scenery, the road, and other traffic. But each to there own. Keep up the good work

Thank you for the video: ) brings back memories. In 1994 I came from NYC to Washington and took the same way you've been driving. From Front Royal I took the Blue Ridge Parkway. Three weeks later I reached the Pacific Ocean. Was a fantastic trip: .

I was an OTR truck driver and was never able to appreciate driving across the country like I did because I'm having to worry about so many things that pertain to job. So thanks so much I can enjoy the trip through your video

Also, fun fact. At 1: 00: 08 you cross the apalachian trail! One of, if not the longest continues foot only hiking trial in the world. Extending all the way north to Mt Kathadin, Main, and South to Springer mountain in Georgia.

I love this. It saves me thousands of dollars on another US trip. Watching hours and hours of absolutely nothing through a car windows and eating fat burgers is all that you can do. Now, I only need to order a burger.

In this trip in Mo. we may be driving country ridden by the Younger's. Dalton, s and James gang of years ago. Just romanticizing as a history buff. We loved the ride beginning to end. Thank you. Port Dover On. Canada

1. It's weird but I like the geography changing throughout the drive (lets say DC to West Virginia - Appalachian Mountains seem to take over) because it seems so subtle in a way
2. Of course Indiana looks sad

Is there some weird compression algorithm that removes moving objects at the edges of the screen At 3: 25 on the right a woman straight up dissapears. And you see it a little mroe throughout. What the hell

I miss Illinois, I grew up there, plus most of my family is there, but I can’t go back bc of how much drama is going on in Chicago recently. This helps me feel at home again

The state sign trifecta from Kentucky to Indiana to Illinois trying to one-up each other is great. "Birthplace of Lincoln! " "Lincoln's Boyhood Home! " "Land of Lincoln! "

EDIT: just saw you answer my question in another comment. How did you handle the audio on such a long road trip Was there an additional mic or such you had setup

Americans have a really poor driving culture. Why are you occupying the left lane when you're not passing another vehicle Gtf into the right lane, you lunatics!

Missouri is always in a different place on the map every time it gets pointed out to me. must be full of nebraskan witches and vaporwave lakefront glass mansions.

Nice, but something i dont understand is when on the way to Huntington, you went on US-60 West, instead of the faster I-64 West, may i ask why

This is a great lesson of US geography. In no time I will know it as perfectly as my French geography! Well, I've already knew Potomac and Schenandoah.

I see all these routes miss the best little four lane divided highway with low traffic. The Audubon Parkway from Owensboro to Henderson KY

I'm curious as to what kind of vehicle this was done with. It sounds like it is a CVT or automatic at least, not a manual.
