wow, up close and personal! at least they didnt shoot at you. i will pass on the trip to Mars, i dont do heights. it was all i could do to get on a plane. my friend told me its safer than driving and if i wanted to move to Texas i needed to get on the plane. he used stronger word but im being nice. i fly now and then on plane but i say alot of prayers when i do. thanks for sharing

That brought back memories of my life in the Valley. Drove down to Boca Chica long before Elon Musk took hit over. I'm surprised you didn't mention being within a few miles of the mouth of the Rio Grande.

I went a lotta times with family to BOCA CHICA beach and got to see the Rio Grande River flow into the Gulf. The mouth of the river was not to wide. Maybe that’s where the beach go it’s name.

That was amazing, to see that is up close must have been an awesome sight. I remember being let out of school to watch the Apollo launches. Now the thought of going to Mars is just crazy.
