Was a Working Cowboy in the 1970s. family Quarter Horse Ranch. Wichita Falls Texas. purchased a New Lotus Europa in 1975 ( i was 20 yrs. Old ) cruised all over Texas. especially Port Aransas. North and South Padre Island. ouwed 4 Yachts and a dozen Euro Exoticars. lived aboard the Boats. the Cars were daily driver's. over 45 yrs. on North Padre. sold my Yacht and 2 Classic Sports Cars and moved to S. E. Asia 10 months ago ( fricking love it here ) Cheers from Pattaya Thailand. enjoy your digital imagery of the Great State of Texas

oh, the metal barn looking buildings appear to be deserted 'cotton gins', where farmers bring their cotton crops in to be 'compressed' and 'graded' for sale and shipment to the world markets. I've got a little video of a farmer telling of his farm and ranching of over 10, 000 acres in Ellis County Texas, take a look if you get the chance here on you tube under a search for, tcvideosennistexas and a title of American Farmer Ellis County Texas, thanks, like you videos by the way!

you were about 30 minutes away from my home town of Beeville Tx. I always enjoyed Goliad, it is a great little small town to visit and the history it has to show for Texas.
I enjoy watching your videos to see how close you get to my town and the smaller towns around it. Berclair is small town in between Beeville and Goliad that would be fun for you to visit. It has a historical mansion there.

That house is 281. 800 dollars. Im english pounds us about 200. 000 pounds. In england that would probably buy you a semi detached 3 bedroom house in a working class neighbourhood or a 1 bedroom apartment in a middleclass neighbourhood. Not much at all. Without seeing all of that house i rekon it would cost around 800. 000 to a million pounds which is about 1 to 1. 3 million dollars

Wonderful educational film. I Knew the history of Goliad and the slaughter of unarmed men by the Mexican Army. I did not know about The Angel of Goliad, Mexican General Ignacio Zaragoza, details about Father Hidalgo, or that the first signing of the Texas Declaration of Independence at the Loreto Chapel. Very cool! I actually performed at a very small music festival that took place outside of Goliad about 8 years ago. I didn't make it into the town itself so it was nice to see it in your video. Such an important small town in the history of Texas, and Mexico for that matter!

Wow. It's been a few years since I have been to Goliad. Downtown is more spruced up since I've been there. It's a gorgeous town with really nice houses. La Bahia is a very special place. I think there was one other place I went on a school field trip.

Having kids that had to take Texas History, this trip, along with San Antonio, was done twice for their benefit just before they hit middle school. They got very good grades in that class.

Great restaurant in the town square there. Really good steaks! Remember the Alamo; Remember Goliad! The Goliad Massacre was horrific to read of, and worse, to consider.
