Southern Oregon scenic driving from Klamath Falls to Crater Lake National Park. We begin in Klamath Falls and head north along Upper Klamath Lake on U. S. Route 97, then continue on Oregon Route 62 up to the entrance of Crate Lake National Park. This drive was filmed in mid-May

It looked like the caldera rim structure--most of it--more plainly came into view as you were leaving Fort Klamath, the remnants of ancient Mount Mazama. I'm mot sure if one can see the rim structure as plainly, from the other approaches, as they're obscured by mile upon mile of those THICK, yet equally splendid Ponderosa Pine savannas, tall and massive in their own right.

Interesting to see Crater Lake with snow too! I was there last month, it was very warm and green, really enjoyed the national park. Sadly the eastern rim road was close for some cycling race, but I was able to drive the west rim road, enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for sharing the video, greetings from a road-tripper from Germany!

I did this trip and your video is taking me back. Beautiful trip with Klamath Lake at the beginning, followed by that uphill road to Crater Lake with all its pine trees. I did this trip in may 2022. The road was just opened and cleared from the snow. Thanks for taking me back there

Sometimes I like to watch these and on a different site have some good traveling music going on and practice guitarr, ead or chat

Hopefully you will do a drive in the Sunriver and Bend, Oregon areas. . Such clean litter free highways. Nice to see.
