Thank you Dixie for your treatment on a hike. Ironically, I've been planning the Camino Frances for a couple of years myself and then discovered your PCT coverage a few months ago. which has been making me think. Then you do the Camino with your great YouTube style and made me cheer! Plus I shared with my mother that's thinking about the last 100km and I'd join having started in St. Jean.

Hi Dixie, if you enjoyed the Camino de Santiago you should try the GR10 traverse of the Pyrenees (both routes meet at St. Jean Pied de Port) for a more challenging experience designed with plenty of village and refuge stops along the route in addition to more remote areas with breath-taking views and superb wild camping locations: )

Those nettle stings are actually really good for you! Despite not feeling so great, they stimulate a lot of bloodflow and can help reduce inflammation as a result and promote healing. They are fantastic to use around arthritic joints. They are also wonderful sources of nutrients and can be consumed in teas and soups

I've start following you because once in my life I would hike the PCT and your wanderful videos are inspiring me so much, now It is strange because I follow you on the Camino de Santiago a way I've already hiked in 2012 and 2017. (I've been in Orisson too. Magic). Thanks for sharing your experience.

I see that this video was published early October, however what day/month did you two leave St. Jean? I'm planning for 2020 and at this point have considered Sept. 1 as I've heard that Aug is the end of the busy time. Thoughts?

I'll be 60 in January. I hike at least 3 miles every day unless it's raining. I know it's not very far, but it's the every day thing that matters the most. Your videos inspire me to hike more, and for that I thank you!

Good luck on the new adventure! Quick question. Have you ever made a video about how you fund these hikes? I'm in the planning stages of going Northbound on the AT and was really shocked at the estimated cost.

Montana is getting spoiled with all that light pack and light equipment that you've perfected over all these years, Dixie. So glad for you all to share this experience with each other. Montana! You Can DO it!

What a beautiful trail! Love the farm roads, the woods and the overall vibe and scenery. I hope to one day soon hike that trail with my family. God willing I will do it
