Common misconception around taking the older larger ones. best off taking these as they have a reduced reproduction system then the younger or juvenile ones which breed like crazy. take larger not smaller!

Ahh the reason you don't spear them is because it's highly illegal in Western Australia. Your also supposed to be licensed to catch the red ones (western rock lobsters)
