I just watched this as I reminisced about being on the same flight 3 years ago this week. And we live in Geelong so the start was fun/relevant for me. although we get on at Nth Geelong. How I miss travel & cant wait until we can do it again.

I sure hope I get to fly on one of those big beasts some day. I was on a 747 from Heathrow to Montreal back in 1980, but a trip on an A380 has been near the top of my bucket list for a long time now.

Thanks for this. We had the same seat as you back in 2012. The food was much better then as well. The crew fed us a lot including mid trip snacks like pizza and ice cream

I enjoyed the trip report. The seats are looking tired I really hope the refurbished aircraft come back sooner! Oh how I miss Melbourne Airport.

I was about to comment that the seat looks wider but I was quite surprised to read it was only 17. 5 wide. Thats a tight fit!

If you were down stairs and your in the wing you cannot see very much becuse the wing of a380 is tilt
