I am a SOUTH AFRICAN and just yesterday 04/11/2019 I finished reading ADAM SMITH s WEALTH OF NATIONS.
Honestly after reading that book I fully understand why AMERICA is so powerful militarily and why they have to spend so much on military.
BOOK 5 of that book will help you understand. wars are expensive yes but every country needs a strong military, I don t blame the US anymore coz I understand better now.

The F35 a nearly 30 year program and way over budget. How's that for a 5th gen with technical problems that needs software updates like your iphone. With that kind of there should be no pilot. US spends way too much on military but when you need to revive your economy I guess starting wars makes sense and using the CIA as the most corrupt agency that literally has predicted everything wrong in it history.

That Mig 15 can handle 8g and so can the pilots. for a short time. It is inaccurate to state that the newer jets can only handle a couple more though. With thrust vectoring the current series of fighters may very well be the last series that have people in the cockpit as the planes can put g loads on the pilots that would kill them in seconds. Humans are the weak point in the equation.

So. the F-35 is outmaneuvered in a dogfight (the critical plane-to-plane fights that fighter jets are for i the first place) by a plane 30 years older?
. Uh, I guess the U. S Airforce's strategy in 'enemy engagements' is for their pilots to wait around behind a nearby mountain somewhere until the MIG-29's in enemy airspace need to refuel?

Feed the world? No can do. Kill the world! Oh yeah, in so many ways with pride and joy. My son the pilot can kill and will. War will never end in this system but pilots will become redundant and that s awesome! Why you ask? We ll save some money at least.
