I think this review is spot on I dont have the Quadrifoglio, just the regular TI, but I can attest that this car is fun to drive. I was all set on getting a Volvo (for safety reasons) or Mercedes, but driving this SUV just changed my mind. The Mercedes definitely feels more luxurious, but only at much more expensive trims. And without a doubt, the Stelvio puts a smile on my face. If you havent driven an Alfa, you should try it out. Like everything Italian, it has a soul that no German, English or Swedish vehicle can match. Funny that, like Alex advises, I balance my Stelvio with a more reasonable Acura MDX for family needs.

While the car may be amazing from a reviewers standpoint; I doubt any sane person would buy this vehicle- lease, maybe; but not buy. Alfa does not have anything remotely like a history of reliability or even the ability to service their vehicles and have them last. They are, essentially, tarted up Fiat and that means junk. As for Alfa themselves, well; since returning to the US market, at least in my area weve already had 2 Alfa dealerships open and close. That aint good. Where are you going to take this beast to be serviced? The local Dodge/RAM dealership?

I see this same white Stelvio being reviewed by all reviewers. It seems Alfa doesnt want to loan more Stelvios with different colors to the reviewers. Stingy. White Stelvio does not look pretty it needs to be either dark blue or red. White is a no no. Ah yeah 0-60 3. 3 sec is amazing. That is sick quick. Alex, your reviews are very good. Going forward I would like you to add in 0-100 runs and quarter mile and trap speed to your reviews as well. 0-60 is not enough.

Another excellent review I love what theyve done with this masterpiece of a vehicle, but even if I had to choose all over again Ill most likely stick with my BMW M40i. The reason for that is, just the overall package. However. once a proper M variant of the X3 is released I may have to lose the M40i for the X3M. I dont think the X3M will outshine the Stelvio Quadrifoglio in terms of sheer performance but again, the overall package.

At 26m05s in, you say why not, but. 2017 Porsche Macan Turbo w/ Performance Package 0-60 = 4. 0s -- zeroto60times. com2018 Stelvio Quadrifoglio = 3. 3s -- zeroto60times. comHandling and size are also close enough that I would consider both of these cars together.

I run the Chevy Volt (no controllable exhaust note to speak of, and annoying coal rollers like to make obscene amounts of noise driving by our house (much to my fury, but the exhaust sound of this car (and Alexs enthusiasm) were pretty contagious. I guess that kind of stuff can still tickle me when done well.

Im shocked you would consider a Stelvio, Alex. Its like icing on a three week old cake. Yes, its got performance. It also has a terrible reliability record. You would actually spend 80K of your hard earned money on this car - knowing it will spend a great deal of time at the local Alfa service center?

So let me get this straight? I have to pay extra for Android auto and Apple car play? I dont get led lightning. But I do get awesome handling and fantastic acceleration. Works for me. It would have to be a lease. Next year these things will be half price on the used market.

wish I could afford one. But I do enjoy my 86 Alfa spider veloce. yes probably the slowest Alfa ever made. But the top down fun factor. and the looks I get, thumbs up. make it wonderful. thank you for bringing back Alfa to the states. with some power
