Alex on Auto, I will agree with you that the battery really help make the different and make it more capable then the regular RAV4 Hybrid. For example like you roller test, Tommy, on TFL was not able to get the regular RAV4 Hybrid unstuck with 3 wheels on the roller and the only rear wheel with the electric motor that had traction. At first I thought that it was because there was not enough HP for the motor, but actually this video help me to realize it all about how much electrical power is available to move the rear motor.

Alex, Quite reasonably, most of us avoid driving on rollers as much as possible. If we are forced to drive on them on a regular basis, is there a particular brand of #RollerTested tire you can recommend?

TFL also has rollers removed to the wheels have to climb out of a rut as well. This can simulate getting over an obstacle, such as a mound of snow that may have built up in front of your wheels.

So it s useless. The wheel didn t even moved until your front tires slipped and got traction on edge of rollers. So once again only real physical AWD works. This prime is a money pit as Scotty says.

How useful is this test? You can get some traction by any imperfect rollers or slipping to one side as you did on your first try unlike a smooth sheet of ice.
