Still think it would be tough against the value of Santa Fe. Honda is simply over priced nowadays. They lack the reliability that Toyota offers nor the value Hyundai offers. The top most trim in crv is such cheap quality inside in terms of materials, and they dont even have stuff like passenger seat adjustment, a full moon roof. The only reason people buy the crv is the lacklustre competition in that segment but the new rav 4 will end crv all together. The new generation crv is ridden with so many issues as well. The pilot on the other hand is great vehicle but over priced once again. The passport will now be between crv and pilot which means it can have the bad things from crv and good things from pilot. Honestly they live in past glory and arent even trying hard. I would rather chose the new Santa Fe. Its a really nice vehicle and wont empty your pockets.

Smart real smart, the pilot looks like a glorified mini-van, this is the vehicle the pilot should have been. Old freds going to take the Mrs. to the nearest dealer after the holidays to take a real close look and locate that automatic shifter, then the Mrs. will take it out for a test drive and ask the salesman. Lets make a deal? Lets make a deal? Then old fred will install a larger set of meats.

Disappointed Honda is sticking with the failure 9 speed transmission. Not convinced the tweaks to the transmission will make the Passport off-road. Alex, I look forward to your off-road test in January. I would feel more comfortable purchasing if they went with a 6 speed transmission.

The overall design looks a decade old and the rear tail lights design looks like from the mid 90s. lately the designers of Japanese cars from Toyota and honda should be fired and they should hire new talent, maybe from germany, or Hyundai. or should I say, like Hyundai did.

I think it is going to steal sales from the Pilot. I have owned Pilots/MDX since 2003. I was tempted to buy a new Pilot, But really didnt need 3rd row anymore. CRV has a couple of strikes against it in my mind: CVT, oil dilution issues,

Only complaint, needs the 10 speed. Honda made it but theyre hardly using it. Accord, Odyssey, and RDX are the only vehicles using it. Honda please put it in more cars (preferably replacing any other automatic that isnt a CVT)

So, Alex, whats the point of the Passport? Is there truly a good enough market for an off road CUV that would rather get the Passport than the CRV or Pilot? I guess Im stuck on the fundamental idea behind this vehicle.

I like the snubby looks of this Passport. There is a youtuber that installed 33 tires and a front lift leveling kit on his Honda Ridgeline giving him 10 of clearance. I think that would look nice on this Passport.

Same vehicle, and Dont even bother to change the interior? and copy and paste from other model and call it a new product? Come on Honda, Im sure you can do better. Please dont be lazy on the design and styling.

I pressed Like only for Alexs hard work. The vehicle on the other hand seems to be a bit rushed and too early. Definitely could have got better styling and a more distinctive desgin than Pilot.
