nissan/infiniti is such a head-scratcher of a company. the fact that the rogue is getting this announcement and tech before the qx60 / qx80 don't make sense, if anything a huge snub to infiniti loyalists. imagine how much of a leader they would be if they didn't run their company so weird / like crap. not saying this isn't a great model / evolution, i just think they wait an unusually long time between model revisions.

I read that Nissan won't be discounting this model like they have been the current Rogue. It is very easy to get approx 5500 off the sticker of the current Rogue, making it a great value proposition vs Rav4 or CRV. If Nissan is going to drop the deep discounting, they will have to do a better job of competing on the quality and features, including the drive train. Nice-looking changes though - much needed.

So many features that other competitors don t have, like tri-zone climate (usually in 3 row midsize SUV, rear sunshade(usually in midsize SUV, and heads up display(I think escape might actually has HUD, but others don t have, and also wireless carplay, which no other competitors have, this is huge upgrade from the last generation, especially interior, and features.

Look at that interior this is why I always end up buying a Nissan when you actually go and test drive and compare cars Nissan makes it hard to choose any other mainstream brand the offer a lot more for less.
After skipping the current gen pathfinder because of the round shape I hope new one will finally make me retire my 2005 Pathfinder.

I have a 2012 Nissan Sentra S with over 199, 000 miles on it. Never had an issue with the original CVT. I changed the fluid every 60, 000 miles as required in the owner s manual. Nissan is capable to be reliable as Toyota and Honda. You haters should learn how to read a manual and drive a car properly and you won t have any problems long term.

I don't really think it matters which display is bigger, the infotainment or the IP. It depends on other factors, including relative distance from the driver, angle, what information is being displayed, configurability, even the display housing and how recessed the actual screen is. It just needs to look cohesive, which I believe this design does.

I'm not sure I'd prefer the larger digital dash but I do think I can rationalize it: it's responsible for displaying a lot more and much more critical/important information to than the infotainment. Your speed and oil temperature are a bit more important than radio station and volume for instance.

Honda, Hyundai, Kia all are faster. The new Nissan Rogue 180hp is better they the old 170hp however can it handle the extra body weight of, passengers/ cargo storage etc. do a person have to floor it just to marge on the highway like the old 170hp. Or is the new 180hp just barely enough.

Have several friends with current generation Rogues, and all are very happy with them. One has well over 200k miles on his and has been trouble-free. I like the appearance of the new one, hope they don't shrink the inside too much. Also hoping for a ventilated seat option.
